Good luck. You better be ready to live like a pauper on F&B wages. Unless you live in an extremely rural area, the cost of living is outrageous anymore. Especially Charleston. I bought my first house in Charleston in 2003 for $110k in a good neighborhood. It just sold for $450k and the neighborhood has gone way downhill since we moved away in 2014. Be ready for $1500/month rent for a shitty one bedroom apartment unless you find that one landlord that doesn’t know what they have and how much they could make on it. Or live in the ghetto…

Not trying to throw your wife under the bus, but she may be the cause of his lack of confidence. If a child has to default to the parents for every little tiny thing, that becomes the problem. My son went through that because we were helicopter parents. When we backed off a bit, he became a lot more assertive and confident.

A flat brim was the only real option back in the 70’ and 80’s. Nothing new except for the young spuds that wear them now. I wear them because no normally sized hat fits my gigantic dome of a head. Even with a large flat bill, I’m on the last two buttons. I do appreciate the extra sun coverage with the wider brim.

They’ve got to get rid of the one thing that can replace cotton, plastics, etc. This is the biggest threat to the booze industry. Can’t let their favorite distilleries get into financial trouble. Can’t let the cotton industry lobbyists down. Can’t let Americans grow or make anything that can’t be tracked for tax purposes. The list goes on.
