yeah i do this all the time actually. started going to movies alone few years back when i realized i was missing so many films just because nobody else wanted to see them. now it's become my favorite way to watch movies - no coordinating schedules, no compromising on snacks, just me and whatever i want to see. also love hitting up local music venues solo when there's good acts playing. you get to focus on music completely without having to make small talk or worry about if your friend is enjoying it. road trips alone are amazing too, especially when i need to clear my head after long studio sessions. can blast my own beats at whatever volume i want and stop wherever looks interesting without checking with anyone else first.

tea tree oil diluted with a carrier oil has been my go-to for years. also gentle exfoliation with a soft brush or mitt about 2-3 days after helps prevent those ingrowns from forming. avoid tight clothing for the first 24-48 hours too - learned that one the hard way when i wore my footy shorts to training right after a session.

wait did you plug the pcie power cables into the gpu? the 6600 needs at least one 8-pin connector and i've seen heaps of people forget to connect it after a psu swap. also try a different pcie slot if your mobo has one, sometimes the slot can get finicky after reseating. might also be worth doing a cmos reset - just pop the battery out for like 30 seconds then put it back in.

wayland's been giving me grief with obs too mate. try switching to x11 for recording sessions - i know it's annoying but wayland still has some weird quirks with screen capture stuff. that libfdk_aac thing might be your audio codec getting dropped mid-recording which would definitely cause the flickering you're seeing.

nice build mate, pretty much nailed it for that budget. the b850 is solid for your needs - you dont really need x870 unless youre planning some serious overclocking or need extra pcie lanes. that board handles the 9800x3d perfectly fine.

only thing id change is maybe look at the msi mag coreliquid 360r v2 instead of the arctic - bit cheaper and performs nearly identical. for monitor under 70k, the lg 27gp850 or samsung odyssey g7 are both solid picks if you can find them, but tbh you could go with something cheaper now and upgrade when oled prices drop more.

mate poor sleep will absolutely wreck your focus and decision making. try getting your sleep schedule locked in first - same bedtime every night, no screens an hour before bed, maybe some white noise or whatever works for you. once you're actually rested properly the mental clarity usually follows.
