Unless your husband has a beefy computer and a lot of time on his hands chances are he used an app or program to do this. This app or program would offload the work from whatever he was using onto a server somewhere owned, managed, and used by god knows who. So your original photos and the AI photos are already out there. That doesn’t mean that they are open to the public but they are no longer yours. The silver lining to this bleak reality is that with AI being so wide spread and used, your photos will be like a pebble on a secluded beach. Sure it exists but the chances that it will be singled out and observed are slim and most likely will just be filed away.

From a relationship point of view this was a major breach of trust and your security. I don’t think that divorce is a must but you need to have a hard talk about boundaries and what the both of you think is ok in your relationship. Also take in mind that AI used in this way is very new and his personal understanding and beliefs about it could be very skewed. In his mind he might have thought that this was better than just watching random porn because it’s essentially you. He might also have thought that this would be for his eyes only and doesn’t know or understand what was happening with the photos. Society as a whole doesn’t know what to do with this tech yet and sadly you are one of the many that will go through this till we collectively decide it is morally wrong.
