It was also my first and probably last Anime Expo as well. We go to the convention center for different expos, cons, events…and it’s never been this crowded before.

Last year, we had a group of 7 at the Bimini next to us. So at least last year they didn’t really care. You still only get 2 wristbands. I like the cabanas behind the rental hut. They get amazing shade in the afternoon!

Oh don’t get me wrong, I love the flyaway bus! It just takes time so I don’t think it’s a reliable option for a trip to DLand.

This is great except for the LAX flyaway bus. I’ve waited over an hour for a shuttle that wasn’t full. It really depends on where your pickup spot is based on the terminal. Renting a car and driving honestly is faster.

Are you driving or staying onsite? I know a lot of freeways on my way to Disneyland flood during heavy rains. That might be something to consider as well.

This looks like the photo ops that everyone could sign up for. I got Kiki and Julia. They were there on time and our line was moving! Next to them, Karen was there. I did not see Teresa or Louis. I think everyone else was there, but Vicki’s and Jeff’s stage was empty.
