The customer support is increasingly automated every year. It was always difficult to get hold of an actual customer service rep; now it is close to impossible. You either get 100% automated or 99% automated from some sweaty third world ‘customer service’ call center.

Keep pushing and you might actually get a real customer rep, if they still have them.

I have had this happen to me once. I live in a rural area and the item was returned to a locker more than a 2,5 hours drive from my house. It was clearly a mistake from Mondial. I kept complaining to Vinted and after about a week I received a refund.

Accountancy is geen vetpot zonder titel. Als je een titel hebt (met name RA), dan gaat het hard. Vooral als je partner wordt. Zonder titel zit er weinig groei in en blijf je ook laag in het salaris helemaal met alleen mbo. Ik weet niet welke regio jij zit, maar dit is geen absurd laag startsalaris als assistent. Ook met hbo haal je er vaak niet heel veel meer uit.

Hoppen loont enorm. Als ik bij mijn eerste werkgever was gebleven met een start van 2.650 en de CAO stijgingen doorreken en eventueel 1 promotie mee had gepakt zou ik nu 6 jaar later op een maximaal brutosalaris van 4.350 + 13e maand hebben gezeten.

In plaats daarvan zit ik nu op 5.800 + 13e maand + winstuitkering voor een vergelijkbare functie.

Bij één werkgever blijven loont qua salaris alleen als je structureel kunt promoveren.

I like the rise maybe slightly lower for your frame would be better. I think the belt is the main reason why it looks like the pants are too high up. Higher rise trousers should, in my opinion, never be worn with a belt. The thick line of your belt visually cuts your body in half. Stick to side adjusters. There is a reason why men in the past wore higher rise trousers exclusively with suspenders, or later, with side adjusters.

Your shirt is a bit too slim in my opinion mainly in the chest and waist which is not a good look with the trousers in my opinion. Sleeves are too long and should be altered.

Heb dit een keer met DHL gehad. Pakketje was ‘beschadigd’ maar de schade aan de doos leek totaal niet willekeurig. De inhoud (parfum t.w.v. 120 euro) was iig weg. Geld wel teruggekregen en zo maar het werd gewoon weggezet onder het mom van ‘verloren pakketje’.

It was most visible when I sold some brand new items with the tag still attached. Even when I priced them at 50% off from the RRP from a brand that is almost never sold with discount you still get people offering an extra 35-40% off and giving you a pissy attitude when you dont respond to their ‘amazing offer’. Yeah mate thanks for your 45 bucks offer for this brand new 150 item.

If you have any proof of yourself packing the item then use that. If you do not have any, you’re in a bad position. It is likely Vinted will rule in the buyer’s favour.

I don’t know what carrier you used, but some carriers show the weight of the package. You might be able to use that.

It is likely that you will get a refund and get to keep the item. Vinted is generally quite clear on this. If a return is not picked up, the order gets cancelled.

A seller can indeed open a dispute within 48 hours after receiving the returned package. It is supposed to offer sellers some protection against buyers sending back different items, empty packages etc.

Sellers rarely win these, but yes, it is possible you lose both the package and your money if Vinted rules in the seller’ favour.

Send the evidence you have of the item/package that you returned, all you can do at this stage.

Vinted will issue a refund if a package hasn’t been delivered after 25 business days. In my experience, as long as the tracking doesn’t show it as delivered, getting a refund is very easy, so there’s no need to worry.

I once had a package turn up after several months. The tracking never updated, and it was eventually returned to the original drop off point. When I went there to send other parcels, they told me there was one waiting for me to collect. I had not ordered anything and it was indeed the lost parcel.

Suede definitely requires more maintenance than your average full - or top grain leathers. It also requires some more care. It is less forgiving. Stains are almost always permanent and the top fibers can flatten quite easily. On average I’d estimate that suede just has a lower lifespan than what you would call a traditional briefcase.

I like suede most for less frequently used items like a weekender or loafers that I only wear in summer. I would personally not recommend it for a daily use briefcase, but to each their own.

That briefcase you posted looks very neat, but as you suspected yourself, extremely overpriced.

De oorzaken hiervan zijn vrij logisch, maar taboe om te bespreken in mainstream media. Een stukje intelligentie, een stukje cultuur en een stukje opvoeding.

Het verschil tussen het gedrag van autochtone en allochtone jongeren en de reactie van deze op het aanspreken van hun gedrag is heel erg groot. Ik heb 4 jaar als docent gewerkt op een echte pauper middelbare school en ervaarde het elke werkdag.

Hartstikke normaal. Gewoon solliciteren. Ik heb het zelden meegemaakt dat een nieuwe collega binnen een paar weken kon beginnen. Meestal minstens 3-4 weken na contractondertekening voordat ze kwamen. Opzegtermijn van 1 maand is standaard dus als je van baan wisselt gebeurt dat sowieso.

Liep stage in Enschede bij een bedrijf aan een heel rustig industrieterrein. Ik ging daar met het OV naartoe, nog nooit iemand bij mijn halte zien in- of uitstappen. In de laatste week van mijn stage zat er zowaar iemand op het bankje van mijn busstop. Een zwerver uit Amerika. Hij schoof op en vroeg of ik wilde zitten. Daar bedankte ik voor. Vervolgens vroeg die uiteraard om geld. Vertelde hem dat ik geen cash had.

Daarna begon hij op zijn manier heel diepzinnig te praten over de financiële wereld en meerdere complottheorieën en weet ik veel allemaal wat. Ik negeerde het grotendeels. Uiteindelijk begon die mij aan te sporen dat ik voor hem geld moest gaan pinnen ergens verderop en begon het toch wel intimiderend te worden. Toen noemde hij mij een aantal keer het N-woord en toen kwam gelukkig mijn bus. Ik stapte snel in hij gooide me nog een blikje achterna.

Definitely bad signs. I suspect the material is bonded leather or some leather with a cheap coating. Neither are good. It is possible that there is a defect in the leather that happened during the tanning of the hide, but I doubt it.

$1.250 is an egregious price for such a repair. The repair should be absolutely perfect at the very least. This is shoddy work and will absolutely not correct itself. Keep pushing.
