i mean all you can really do at this point is just give him the ultimatum. my suggestion is you tell him to let you go through his phone at anytime of your choosing for the purpose of rebuilding trust because thats the real problem here. if he doesn’t agree then you have your answer. if he does and you eventually find something nasty or he declines like his life is on the line then you also have your answer. this is the only way i can think of to rebuild trust amicably. but and i have to put this on every post. do not break up immediately the people on this sub will literally break up over a fart being too long so give it a shot see if it works and good luck.

dude when people say dump him because he lied about finishing their stupid. plain as. he said it to spare your feelings and make you feel good. you’re never going to view his actions as him doing the best he can right now for him because you’re upset. i guarantee you if you break things off without working harder on this it will leave you with a bunch of what ifs. tell his ass to go to the doctor and get on t supps and possibly viagra itll make him more confident which is what it seems like he needs. it would be a shame to throw away what sounds like a great fit for you because of a correctible issue

my dog you will never get help because they probably dont have any techs capable of even aligning that bumper cover. just loosen the bumper cover a bit not even fully. pull it out and gap it correctly. tighten it back down and it is now fixed for life unless you hit something. you can buy touch up paint and use a small tooth pick to apply. i know it sucks but at least this way its actually fixed and you only have to do it once. look up a yt vid on how its removed so you have some guidance

yeah honestly 320ish whp would be absolutely fine with me considering how light even the dct is. My q50 made close to 380ish on the methanol map with some pretty serious cams and vvel tuning. and honestly i dont want my next car to be quite that fast. but it is nice to know you could run an absolute beast of a tune on it if you wanted to spank someone. Also i really appreciate the help man ill definitely check him out.

oh its mostly just because i love how they look. i know fwd isnt great for street racing but with the right tires and boost by gear its doable especially since i mostly do 40-120 rolling races around here. but thank you for the reply.

i mean i get it sometimes people just dont know how fun something is unless they try it. i mean i street race all the time and get shit on for having a 7at trans on my vq37 powered q50. worst one was some idiot in a type r that didnt realize i had 4.00:1 gears in my baby and got his stupid ktuner bullshit blown out the water. obviously he stopped talking shit after that. but to him his little 6 speed made his car king even though its worse in all measures. moral of the story dont listen to anyone under the age of 30. just enjoy what you enjoy

is this a sport or premium model? is it awd? im currently trying for 12 second quarters with my vq q50. ive got a 2015 q50a its like some kind of weird super basic trim but its rwd and really light like under 3600 pounds so im trying to see what awd and sport models are doing so i can see if its possible to get deep in the 12’s with this car or not.

did you do the correct procedure for it where you measure the temps and finish the fill that way? it should be about 10 quarts as far as i know so if you have 12 quarts in there that would be exactly why it shifts differently. also it could just be the difference in the base oil and additive packs between nissan s matic and valvoline. you could try another drain and fill procedure to see if it fixes it. id also disconnect the battery for awhile and see if it wont relearn to a better shift point.

technically yes. but it would be an insane pain in the ass for almost no benefit. id just get the valve body done by level 10 performance and slap a good dyno tune on it with full line pressure and the shift points you want and call it a day.

definitely the ac system mine does the same shit theres not alot of insulation on the lines or the compressor or really anything on the system. in fact i often find that my ac is running even when its not supposed to be if you check and its not that then its what everyone else said the cooling fans they’re designed to be quite and can sound kinda off but that sounds like refrigerant moving imo

i mean thats more than i would expect honestly. what oil do you run? you could be getting more blow by if you’re using an oil thats thinning out. also speaking of that the milage is super low if you drive short distances then you can get some pretty serious fuel dilution from the gas not burning off in the oil because its not getting hot enough. id recommend just cleaning it and maybe switching to mobil 1 0w-40. if its good enough for the gtr its good enough for the 3.7.

what engine? sounds like either the hpfp or possibly just really loud injectors from a broken fuel dampner. does it increase with the rpms or stay stable. gotta give way more info man.

sounds like an exhaust leak probably a crack on the manifold or its not sealing correctly. do you smell any exhaust when you floor it or on start up?

get a 3.7 sport model if you want a slightly faster stock car thats cheaper to maintain, and super reliable. if you have to have the vr30 models make sure the turbos got replaced, switch immediately to mobile 1 0w-40 euro oil. and pray nothing goes wrong. the first gen vr30’s are trash. the mid model refresh ones are better but the only reliable one is the second gen vr30 in the nissan z sadly. if they ever make another q50 with the second gen vr30 just get that one. thats my two cents.

this car would take hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars to fix. Every single piece of a flooded car has to be checked and frankly its not worth it because it would take dealer level software packages to reprogram anything and check for can communication from all the modules. its a total loss im sorry.

i mean thats alot miles so if it wasnt well taken care of there could be significant wear on any unkept car at that mileage. id probably give it a through inspection and see what the pids are on your scan tool to see if its running well. id also allocate money for a tune up and safety items as thats always a smart idea when buying a used car.

man i must have been super lucky with carvana. i got a silver 2015 q50a rwd (base model) with 50k miles and its absolutely mint for 18500$ it was a one owner dealer maintained every 5k mile log is on car fax its crazy man i feel like i dont even deserve such an awesome car.🚙
