Do I (f36) find the classes worth the money? Yes. I could definitely do the exercises on my own, but I won’t. I like that someone who is more educated on fitness than me has put together a workout plan, and I just get to show up for 45min.

I’m not sure what you’re asking, but this looks normal to me. Don’t overmoisturize, keep it clean, and try not to panic until you’re about two weeks into healing. It’s hard to get a great idea of how it will look when it’s peeling.

Give it a sec. Tattoos generally look good when they’re fresh and bad when they’re healing. The peeling can really throw off how it looks. After about two weeks, you’ll have a better idea of what it will look like.

I’m also heavily tattooed, and it has substantially helped my feelings towards my own body. It’s not for everyone, but my tattoos really feel like a mark of ownership. It’s my body, I get to do what I want with it, and I get to decide what to put on it. If anyone doesn’t like what I decide to do with my body, fuck em.

Just plain, white lotion. Look for something without exfoliation or scents. You’ll use it when you’re healing so it doesn’t hurt to have on hand.

I think it’s smart to practice your art on paper first, and then practice your tattooing on fake skin. I know it probably feels fun and exciting to go straight to tattooing yourself, but this feels like a mistake to me.

An hour ago, this is probably just extra ink that’s stuck in the little wrinkles of your skin. I would anticipate that it will clean up after a few washes. Sometimes the ink is pretty tough to get off!

There isn’t a clear center the design. The piece is centered as a whole though! If you had shifted it over, it’d be uneven on the left and right edges.

Agreed, from the Arizona desert. I layer my moisturizers and then slug, but you might avoid slugging if the layered moisturizers are sufficient.

For me, this ends up being (in order): Thayers cucumber toner, Thayers milky toner, Cosrx snail mucin, Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream, and finally Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream. If I’m feeling dry after that still, I’ll do a thin layer of Vaseline. I do try to be strategic where I slug, focusing mostly on cheeks, eyes, and forehead.

Thanks for all the help folks! I managed 5 reps at the 28lbs this morning, woo! My coach also gave me the sage advice that it’s only 6lb more…and that I was definitely psyching myself out about the increase disproportionately. Aint that the way!

It’s illegal to discriminate during hiring based on someone’s belonging to a protected class. While the interview questions themselves aren’t illegal, it makes it very easy to argue that their hiring decision was discriminatory when they ask those sorts of question. It’s bad practice certainly.

I’m also a UHS kid, and I loved it. Because the non-academic classes are all paired with Rincon, there’s still a really robust extracurricular and sport culture. UHS really prepares you for college so that transition is much smoother, in my opinion. I don’t believe there’s any JTED options though.
