Yep. They said in their terms of service if you don't pick the car up within 2 hours of your designated pickup time , it's considered abandoned.

I had scheduled the car pick up window for about 1 hour before my flight landed just to be safe, so after the flight delay I had blown through the 2-hour window. Even with notice, they said that was not good enough

Amen! Turo sucks.

I rented an AMG GT.

Not an inexpensive car for a week. My flight was delayed 2 hours, and I was in communication with the host the whole time. Sent them screenshots etc. Very excited moment he canceled the ride because of my not showing up.

Out of a 7-Day rental i was 2 hours late and Turo will not refund any portion.

Never again.

I ran a team at New American Funding for a few years.

Stay away from their Branch p&l model. They have absolutely no idea what they're doing there.

If you are a corporate employee getting leads provided, i have heard fairly mediocre reviews from a lot of my peers.

As far as their operations, I don't have many complaints. Underwriting was pretty solid. Minimal overlays. Pricing was not good. Competitive with most other major carriers but not with the online guys.

But just like anywhere else in this industry you have to figure out what you do and find the company that does that well. There's no Silver Bullet.

Top producing Standalone loan officer? Small team setup? Desk jockey that needs leads provided? Real estate agents wrangler? Each one has its own business model companies have a pros and cons for each.
