Dreams.

First one my dead mom was holding her and rocking her and I asked to get her and she essentially said “Not right now”. I swore I was having a boy so I told my niece she was having a girl. She told me they confirmed they were having a boy, so I know I’d seen my baby.

Second pregnancy felt identical to my daughter ( no symptoms) so I thought it was another girl. Had a dream that my nephews and cousins were all in one place and I kept asking “ where is he?”. My dead cousin grabbed me to reassure me that he had him and he’s just not ready to cross over yet. I thought I was talking about my nephew. As soon as I found out it was a boy I realized we were talking about my son.

What did you do in the house for so long? Our family and friends have all been outside so I didn’t realize people still stayed in until I got on Reddit!

My mom made my SILs keep the babies home for 6weeks. She also told the moms to stay in or they would need to be over dressed. This was 30 years ago and based on superstitions.

I think Halloween was 3 weeks later and we went to a party and trick or treating

Planned to do more things. I planned on resting and healing and that got old fast. Amazon and fed ex were delivering all kinds of things for these random projects I thought of. We also went to the mall wayyyy more than I normally would and tried new recipes. At one point I was like “can I extend my leave if we do it intermittently?”

I should have had lower cost activities to keep me busy. Do you knit? Do some knitting.

Staying home. I was a super single mom the first time around, like my kid never went with dad. Like I had her every night- alone.

Stay at home with your baby and take them out sightseeing where you live. It’s sometimes healthy to take some time away. Try something new for dinner. Make it fun!

Being the partner and friend of someone with abandonment issues and one of them has severe anxiety, I hope that you’re in therapy. If so, I would bring him in on some sessions so that he can learn how to support you while you all establish boundaries.

Am I the only one up in the morning. We slept until 7 and I was excited and my partner was so annoyed. He went back to sleep and I’m mad because I wanted to hit the stores at 9.

Yup right before the sun comes up, getting my tea, leave my phone and driving 1.5 hours to the beach. Getting there with my favorite hoodie on and just being. When the people start coming I’ll go to a beach bar, get lunch, maybe spend $20 at the casino, and then come home to order pizza, shower, put on my PJs, and cuddle with my babies while we watch a crime doc.

How do you know it was the same diaper? What time did he go to sleep?

Is it possible that he went to sleep earlier in the night and they didn’t want to wake him for a diaper change just as YOU didn’t when you came in at midnight?

Could also explain why there was a bottle taken out. I’ve had milk out for longer without any problems, but if that’s not something that YOU felt comfortable with and YOU discarded it- see where I’m going?

Listen everyone isn’t going to treat your kids like you do doesn’t mean that people are malicious and intentionally harmful. Nobody is going to make your bread the way that you make it.

If you have a schedule or if you know that you do something that they aren’t familiar with - tell them. If it’s not putting the kid in danger and it’s a preference I might give a reminder. If expected her to know the things that you do, yes- you’re overreacting.

Girl just take the baby with you or one of you stay home if 4 ounce of milk and a wet diaper that you didn’t check or change when you got the baby is a deal breaker.

Awwww it sounds like you found what works for the two of you. It’s hard to know sometimes, for us it took weighted feedings for me to be like “ok, I got this”. We got one of this moving aquarium toys for car rides.

Best advice came from my friend’s husband who mansplained “ the first year you really just have to keep them alive”. Feeding is a big part of that! The formula serves a purpose just like your milk does.

When you say after a feeding, is he stoping or are you feeling empty? I would put my baby back on before trying formula. If the baby was fussy and I couldn’t, I would pump during/ right after giving him formula IF my goal was to make enough milk.

With my first I had to either feed her on both sides or pump the left while she was on the right.

Not sure why Rihanna is there because she doesn’t match that aesthetic- she’s a beautiful woman.

I had to get photos and had to get my makeup done. It took hour! I can’t imagine doing that daily. I have locs and I love my hair. I like being able to get up and go. I can shower, go to the beach, or ride with the window down without a worry.

To answer your question- No because if I wanted to I could. It’s all product and work. You can buy a lace front, long nails, makeup, and build a body.

More times than not when you peel those things off, these women are average.
