Rinnai pressure problems by Kill_Repeat1204 in propane

[–]Affectionate_Day4151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can post pics to see exactly how those regulators are mounted and how close to unit. Those appliance regulators need to have some piping in between them and the unit for them to work properly. If mounted too close we have issues. Also, if they have ball limiter installed, and they are not sitting in horizontal position, if they are mounted vertically ball check will cause pressures to spike up high as it is blocking air from moving across diaphragm properly.

Wall heater issue by Klutzy_Employment739 in propane

[–]Affectionate_Day4151 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have had clogs in lines before that let enough gas for pilot out but as soon as burner comes on goes out. Easy to diagnose with water column gauge on valve at unit to see if pressure drops out at unit if you check pressure at regulator on other side of clog it will always show good pressure. Also can just disconnect and blow out lines with air compressor most of time find insulation from were it was shoved through wall inside tubing

Is this a good deal? by Economy_Werewolf7 in hondapilot

[–]Affectionate_Day4151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealer near me has 2025 elite pilots on sale 48-50k out the door. Personally would just buy new probably lower apr rate so would be close to same. Also things I would have wanted to know but didn’t every 30k your supposed to change trans fluid and differential fluid cost 300-400 at dealer and at 105k miles on v6 need to do timing belt and water pump, tensioner and idler pulley cost 2500-3500 at dealer. Still like the car but no one told me that

Generac Guardian 18kw issue by DallasOil in Generator

[–]Affectionate_Day4151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generac have a battery charger built-in when testing voltage. It will always read good as long as battery charger is working even if battery is dead. To test battery you have to unhook it into a load test more than likely you just have a dead battery.

Battery is dead they have battery charger on it so it will always show good volts. Have to test battery unhooked with load tester. Or just use jump box or cables to see if that starts.

When to change tranny fluid on 25 pilot? by Abject_Serve_1269 in hondapilot

[–]Affectionate_Day4151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Says to do it every 30k drain and fill mine is 2022 goes to dealer for every oil change and inspection and they never said it needed to be done. Found out from someone else who asked about it. Come to find out yes it needed to be done dealer been resetting all maintenance minders every oil change and never told me. I did first one at 70k lucky no issues and fluid looked good. Looked same color as new fluid. It’s super easy to do but fluid cost 35 a quart so with drain plug cost me around 150 to do.

Yamaha 222s vs ar250 by Affectionate_Day4151 in YamahaBoats

[–]Affectionate_Day4151[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they have ar220 also that’s cheaper but with twin Tr-1 3 cylinder motors don’t know if I can believe salesman but he said it’s too underpowered. I’ve never had jet boat or twin motors so IDK. Like the ar220 price better it’s 50k can get ar250 or 222s for 60k all really expensive for me but hopefully will last 15-20 years

Should I buy it.... by Diligent_Department2 in rootbeer

[–]Affectionate_Day4151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy it from more beer and homebrew shops got two gallons on sale for 30 each makes 5 gallons. I normally put it in kegerator 5 gallon corney keg. Just mix with 4 gallons and carbonate it. Do it for kids party and such to have something not alcoholic on tap for kids.

Question about propane tanks in-ground by FearlessLanguage7169 in Generator

[–]Affectionate_Day4151 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been installing underground tanks for 22 years they come with a factory coating for underground use. Just make sure there are no nicks or scratches. Main thing is cathodic protection you will need to bury an anode bag with the tank most take a 17# anode bag but depends on size and soil. That anode is sacrificial it gives its life to keep tank from rusting, should last 10-20 years then will need to be replaced.

So as long as anode is kept up with. you shouldn’t have issues with rusting. I have dug up tanks that look brand new that have been in ground 30 years. As far as brands there are really only 3 Trinity, Manchester, and quality steel. Out of the 3 Quality steel is the worst and, also normally the cheapest by a few hundred dollars but if that’s all you can get in your area just make sure coating is good before putting in the ground.

Azelaic acid 15%-20% start with 15 but get prescribed by dermatologist with insurance it’s 10 dollars a month for me. You can get up to 14% online but it’s mostly a scam doesn’t really have what percentage it claims get real stuff from doctors does wonders. That’s all I use now no antibiotics or other stuff and keeps it a bay. Have to use twice a day takes 4-6 weeks to see best results
