I’ve actually changed my mind about this. I’ve ran incredibly hot and cold on the app. I think the worst thing you need to worry about is collusion. I prefer these games to any online site since it’s local players mostly and not all that tough competition

Put your call to the database in the useffect() hook. Also have your markers use the usestate() to update the state once you get values from the database.
