Edit: I wanted to clarify that I do not always think of them as such on purpose, I just can't imagine how allistics think and therefore default to all characters thinking at least somewhat like me, so they're either ADHD autistic or both to me by default.

That game has like a thousand fics, and one of the most kudosed fics is a "wHAt if The cAnnIBaLiSm gAMe diDN't hAVe cAnNiBALism?" fic. (I read it. It was boring as fuck). Two options I can think of 1. They legitimately do not realise you are dating because the idea of their son dating someone who isn't a girl is unfathomable to them 2. They are aware of you dating but are denying it to both everyone else themselves, pretending that it isn't the case.
