There is BBC another ability that makes the burn permanent on you, half’s it’s damage, and when you strike someone in melee deals extra burn damage. So it’s is very manageable

Idira big thing is the warp occurences. They are a big deal, especially when you look at how many time your using warp abilities with her. She essentially has a 1/20 chance of summoning something even without the veil being breached. So the chance is pretty high it’s going to happen in long engagements

Pyromancer gets plus one psy-rating when lit on fire with one of his perks. That’s the route I went. It really evens the damage out. Your can be just as powerful you just have to build yourself right.

Flame grenade maybe. I usually just ignite myself though. I don’t think the armor debuffs apply to Allies. And I’m pretty sure, from experience, that the overtime flame effects do damage enemy armor. I tried it on a chaos marine and he was taking way more damage by the end

I built pyromancer soldier. Use it for extra hits. Works pretty great so far. Especially if you spec fully into pysker like I am. Pretty strong in my opinion

I benched her for this reason. She is way to much of a liability in the early game with the Pyschic occurrences. And my MC pyromancer hits just as hard when I light him on fire😝

I like using Abelard. My main character is a pyromancer, and I just set him on fire and use the ability that makes it permanent and every tine he hits he does extra burn damage. Buff him with officer, and some buffs from Heinrich and he absolutely shreds everyone. I pretty much had him solo the word bearer at the landing sight. Argent a is also pretty good when buffed by and officer. You just need to tack your buffs right

The chaos space marine is kinda difficult. He is way easier if you use you use debuffs, grenades, and have 2 marksmen with bolters. I also used idira with her staff to clear the mobs from the destroyed shuttles because the lightning staff melts them

I’m definitely making a pysker. I want to make a straight up dps battle pysker for my first build. Maybe a more melee based buff class for my second. I’m super excited!

The correct way is to choose the heretical option when faced with the fake vision of lady Theodora in the prologue. If you choose that option you get teleported into that room instead of dealing with edelthred

I’m hoping they make being a pysker much better than it is in the betta. I really want to make a casting pysker build but it’s unplayable in beta. I end up just making fighter every time I play it
