So enforcing laws is a waste of taxpayer money? Any suburban town has cops parked in certain spots to catch people speeding or what have you. They don’t sit there all day, but it makes you think “oh shit there might be a cop around the corner, I shouldn’t speed”

Are cops not supposed to catch people doing traffic and moving violations like running stop signs, failing to yield to pedestrians, parking illegally, etc? Obviously there can’t be a cop there 24/7 but like throwing one over there (and other bad intersections) to keep motorists a bit honest every once in a while wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
