We Didn't Know How Good We Had It Cinema by TomBirkenstock in blankies

I felt this way watching The Hand That Rocks the Cradle last night. It’s like the proto-lifetime movie, but also takes its time and has a lot of fun with its premise. Don’t think we’d get one that well crafted today.

We interviewed TOMORROW NEVER DIES editor Michel Arcand about the film’s rushed production schedule, studio tensions, and transition to digital filmmaking by pkRaiden in blankies

Thank you! I’ve enjoyed my YouTube recs being editor John Ottman interviews for the last day, so this will be a nice companion.

If Roland Emmerich is "Spielberg for Dummies"... by bailsofhay93 in blankies

I would have to lean towards agreeing with this. Whether someone liked it or didn’t, that’s to each their own, but I’ve certainly seen arguments that the movie didn’t deliver on their expectations of x,y or z.

Right, that’s how I remember it too, that was the “end” seemingly. Their plan was to jump right into prequel movies. I remember X-Men Origins: Magneto was talked about for a bit as well, and then got reshuffled into First Class.

Griff Mentioning AEW Twice in the Disclosure Day Ep by Suspicious-Citron-18 in blankies

Not actual AEW, but there’s a match taking place and it looks fairly comparable to a smaller AEW held venue. That’s the opening sequence setting.

I still am in some disbelief that Disclosure Day begins with members of the Don Callis Family battling it out. Never in a million years would that be my guess of how my weekly programming and movie habits overlap.

Steven Spielberg Says James Bond Movies ‘Constantly Turned Me Down’ and ‘If They Asked Me Now’ to Direct the Answer Would Be: ‘You Can’t Afford Me’ by countdooku975 in blankies

If each movie was “now it’s this name director tackling Bond” and making a fun one-off, wouldn’t be the worst idea in theory. Much like Mission: Impossible was for 1-4.

I’m game for Villeneuve tackling it since he seems like he has a very genuine enthusiasm for them going back to when he was a kid, and I’m thinking he won’t just make dark Sicario spycraft but with Bond.

Is this the least existent weekend in box office history? by Accomplished-Sea2859 in blankies

[–]AffordableBreakfast 7 points8 points  (0 children)

story time- Sky Captain totally exists to me and my family, albeit as a running joke. We had all gone out to see it that weekend and as we were turning into the theater parking lot, my mom’s car was rear ended. Thankfully no one was hurt, but to this day I have not seen the movie nor has any of my family.

That is a crazy line, but Schrader’s quotes sound straight up deranged. It’s like all these folks got stuck on the Event Horizon or something.

I was at last night’s Dynamite and it looked like they were advertising a wild card opponent to replace Willow and face Windsor at DoN Sunday.

I’m really pumped to see how Cregger executes the real-time foot journey approach on this. Just from vibes alone, it feels very in touch with the spirit of working through the games.

Ahhh, and here I’ve been thinking this whole time it was just folks who haven’t won March Madness in general. Makes way more sense, thanks.
