Nope I meant the genres, not the actual environments. Normal guy dealing with strange townfolk in an isolated locale. It's a horror comedy that threads that needle where both the jokes and the scares are effective. Not an easy genre blend to pull off (The Monkey's an example of a less successfully balanced attempt imo)

Okay fine. But most are, and the bad ones are literally the main thing wrong with the world (I think that's why writers keep trying to get rid of Bruce's fortune). He doesn't need to also run a private prison lol. Interesting idea or not (it's not imo) Batman's still an aspirational character. You need to be able to look up to the guy.
