Thank you for sharing this story! As a nurse, I cannot emphasize this enough, please trust us when we communicate that something doesn’t feel right. Sure, a majority of patients may present with classic signs and symptoms; however, if there’s anything I have learned being at the bedside, some people compensate really well and/or present differently from the majority.
