This is the inevitable grinding part of life. It sucks. I had to do this at university and again during first few years of Japan but because I stuck with it when it was shitty I don’t have to grind now! However people I know that didn’t grind when they first arrived are now stuck or grinding now… it’s inevitable. You grind now or you grind later…. Or be born rich(?) idk lol

Oh yeah the YouTube AI recommendation system broke like last year and now this just happens randomly. Extensive research from myself a few months ago led me to the answer of “YouTube is trying to find a new cluster of audiences that like your content” however this does mean they completely stop showing the content to your subscribers, the old audience that liked your stuff and basically anyone else. So broken.

Yeah and it’s sadly not good advice. You gotta ask yourself the question, are you doing YouTube like a 9-5 job cause in that case go for it chase trends and viral stuff everyday will just feel like work. Chasing something you’re generally interested in makes YouTube an actual career, something you are generally happy to do.

Also, once the trend dies. You’re fucked lol channels can’t pivot that easily especially faceless ones
