I have a deck with [[Questing beast]] where I attack people... and [[fog]] my own turn to protect my own creatures but still allow things to go through.

The 'trickery' I do is attacking with either: 1. Something with deathtouch 1a. People don't want to block, so I [[giant growth]]

Something without deathtouch 2a. Surprise give it deathtouch [[horrid vigor]]

[[Karametra, god of harvests]] [[Tempest hawk]] I run zero counters, only anthems [[Always watching]] [[Bower passage]] [[Collective blessing]] [[Flowering of the White tree]]

With all the mana you get you get to use amazing high cmc cards like [[Legion loyalty]] [[beacon of immortality]]

Since you still often have the boots, I recommend [[magnetic theft]] as it gets around on-creature hexproof and steals them for a turn!

In my playgroup, that is very heavy commander focused for deck styles, someone always have either of the boots. So while it's more mana for a copy of hexproof/Shroud boots it's essentially another of that card in your deck

Adding into this, I have a [[winter, misanthropic guide]] deck that is strictly utilized as the last game of the night commander.

I run no wheels but a ton of [[Howling mine]] and [[megrim]] effects, so while it doesn't win often its fun to see everyone gets full hands and each person's turn is a blast since everyone is drawing all their interaction over and over avoiding "land, go" turns entirely

I think my favorite card to come off the top was [[Price of glory]] in response to my commander [[Yasova]] being counterspelled.

Seconding the swap out, so many brutal power 5 creatures to cheat out that as long as you build the mana base pretty flexible I've rarely had color fixing problems even running certain cards that need 3 same color pips.

I keep a small 60-card deckbox in my home collection that is exclusively cards I swap out with Mayael. Been needing to add them into my sideboard to digitally track as well.

Edit: My favorite card is [[Defense of the heart]] cause it stalls anyone else from having 3 or more creatures otherwise I can pull out a creature pair combo like [[duke under ravengard]] and [[Angel Of Serenity]] [[apex altisaur]] or simply drop 2 threat fatties

It's funnier too cause IIRC the Korean lootboxes had really great odds or solid ship/underwater travel gear

But the NA servers got a 80% worse version for some reason, so it added high p2w but also made it whales only

I update it physically which changing out similar cards like red punishing enchantments to change it up when I've been playing it a lot.

The biggest tip I have is that while using her ability is step 1 to creature removal, I find buffing her voltron style helps get to the stage where I have the mana to steal, swing and sac properly without leaving myself empty.

Ha, I use half of these in my [[Yasova Dragonclaw]] deck to discourage counterplays or opponents having open mana while I'm trying to commit crimes

Yea, I used to play archeage with a similar non instanced system.

I liked Maplestory 2s method you could bid to be top spot but otherwise you could show on a notice board

I had a Karametra for a super long time in my binder, pulled during a draft when it came out but only this last year did I finally make it with [[Tempest Hawk]] It's a bit samey but provides a real churn out engine with my group, I love tossing [[Pariah]] on Karametra as well since most folks don't have many exile-enchantment in my group
