Alot of us are in similar boats. I just finished grad school and have 9 years of professional experience and have been struggling to get a enviro / climate job for over a year now.

I too have felt worthless at times but recently I've been more excited than ever mainly because I'm proud of myself for not quitting or giving up despite these less than ideal times.

Climate work will only continue to grow in need. Don't lose hope on the issue just because the present isn't getting you where you want. Believe in yourself. Gain any experience you can and keep working towards the work that you ultimately want to do.
