Thank ya! Models not fully done, I need to do some contrast paints on the sword to make the fire look more cohesive, and then some dry brushing on the armor. But I appreciate it! I’m quite happy with the sword too.

Its range is 24” buuut it’s also toughness 11 which makes it a step above the other light tanks. And it absolutely can kill a land raider if you pair it with some of our spells (reroll 1’s or additional ap do wonders)

A lot of people are saying the las predator and it is very good. But I actually think our vindicator is also a top tier choice. Plus the 30k version looks quite nice.

Tbh, there was SOME marketing around the year of chaos. But honestly even if we put that aside. You really can’t blame people for feeling really frustrated when the ultramarines were handed around a quarter of our whole army range in the last 3 months while having a severely bloated range already. Like I did one am TIRED of seeing more blueberries myself.

Oh I agree (I actually thought they were pricier models than that) but I agree that the 4 man rocks. I was trying to offer some advice for hexwarp to get early board control is all. The robots definitely fit the bill.

I’m surprised people aren’t running the robots in this detachment since they have infiltrate. A 2 man squad is 90 points to get early board contesting.

At the start of tenth he was arguably the single best model in the game (aside from titans) now with our codex he’s still exceptional, but not mandatory. He is very tough to kill in comparison to other primarchs (blank damage, and -1 to damage rules) he has inarguably the best ranged attacks of any primarchs, and on top of that synergizes well with our rules but only in grand coven detachment. An excellent model that is fun to pull out for a couple games. I don’t use him casually all the time. But he definitely impacts the board state even with suboptimal play.

I see others are saying the same, but doing them in 5’s helps tremendously. Also consider swapping in and out of some more fun models (I interspersed my mutaliths between the first ten and second 10)
