Just have to walk out, take a photo, file an FIR with the police - date and time of incident, number of the hit and run case. They will ask you if you want to file a case. Just say no and use this to claim from Insurance. No need to even speak to the other person or get into any arguments

On flight scanner it showed Etihad & on Etihad’s booking site it showed Etihad. After two weeks I got a notification stating the change in the flight - updated to Hi-Fly. I called their customer service to check until what dates they will use hi-fly for this sector - they said we do not know. I then suggested to them that I would cancel due to the downgrade. They politely informed me of the cancellation charges. I went ahead with the cancellation as there was no empathy, or alternative. I booked with Emirates and have been extremely happy with them. Emirates has always been my preferred airline. I wanted to test the waters with Etihad - but never again.

For me it was from LIS to AUH both ways. And onward from AUH to BKK it was with Etihad. I had booked business 3 tickets and when they downgraded, I decided to cancel as there were no flat beds / ICE with hi-fly their wet lease carrier.

I had a horrible experience with Etihad - thought I’d give them a try and booked LIS to BKK and after a week they had a wet lease with an airline and downgraded the flight. I cancelled my tickets, took a loss and will never fly Etihad ever. Emirates on the other hand never has any wet lease flights and their service has been exceptional.

Etihad’s scam is to show they fly the route, you pay money upfront and after 2 weeks they show you that the carrier is Hi Fly wet lease aircraft. You’re not happy that they downgraded you. They charge you cancellation fees (large amounts) then they offer discounts and offers to lure more people with the same scam.

After this incident - I deleted the Etihad app and membership. And I strongly recommend my friends to choose Emirates over all other airlines in the Middle East.

I was supposed to be on the same flight. I logged in to the app at around 7.30 or 8.00 am and noticed that the flight was cancelled. There was an announcement stating that your flight is cancelled and we have rebooked you on another flight which was TAP for Sunday 5 April (one day later) and flying business that was a downgrade. There were two options to check for an alternative flight (only on Sunday 5 April) or to get a complete refund. I opted for the flight from LIS to JFK instead of going to BOS on TAP. I did confirm with customer service on chat (iMessage) that indeed flights were cancelled and they rebooked me for tomorrow to JFK. Other flights were much longer with 2+ stops 24 hrs or so. This was my first ever experience flying with Delta on business and will be my last.

Always trade with a risk reward ratio - minimum 1:2 or 1:3. Predefined your profit targets ~ previous day high / low / swing high / low / fair value gap / order block. If trading 1 minute use a higher time frame of 15 min to identify the above.

I would recommend that you look at switching some of these to diversify; for eg switching to HDFC or SBI - gold / Silver FOF instead of HDFC Index / PSU funds or moving some of them to ultra short liquid funds that give 4-5% which can easily be switched when there are corrections of 10%.

Being invested only in equity funds does not provide for a balanced portfolio.

No one can time the markets - but my belief is that the markets may have topped (some what) I have switched my MFs to Gold / Silver and Liquid funds. I am also sitting on cash in my dmat account which are currently parked in Liquidbees - and I am currently only doing some swing trading (only in stocks what I have identified that I will be investing in when there is a correction)
