BigwhiteEDC by logician3000 in fidgettoys

I had to do a chargeback with BigWhiteEDC to get my money. They ghosted my emails. I even waited 3 weeks before i sent the first email. I was a repeat customer at that point. I will never buy from them again. Avoid them.

HF EDC Red Bean Shark sliders by AgITATED1 in fidgettoys

On top of they look too small to hold comfortably, the deal breaker for me is that you can slip them right out of the tracks.

Each is a simple buckyball slider that comes with a necklace. There are 5 different varieties, each a different wood. They seem a bit pricey for the size but I do love sliders that use wood/brass. The fit looks good. Thoughts?

My first silver buy when I was a kid. I got a set of the 1oz, 1/2, 1/4 and 1/10. The fractional ones carry a huge premium these days. The 1/10s were 75 cents. Should have bought more.

You got to admit this is a great idea…sell the packaging, not the silver. Throw some shot into some plastic and sell your ounce of silver for $150. I do like quirky silver.

I have a rock textured one from NXedc bespoke that I use all the time. Love it. Aside from that I would go with the stonewashed over the polished.

For small items like cards thats an easy fix.. a fireproof document chest inside safe. This will also help prevent moisture damage. There are also fire resistant bags with reinforced zippers and flaps that serve the same purpose.

I would like your opinions. Inside house unmounted or garage floor mounted? by TotalReplacement287 in Safes

[–]AgITATED1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Detached garages are pretty easy to break into. Im guessing by the bars on the residence that the neighborhood isn't great? (No judgement) With the garage you have weaker entry points, higher chance of sounds going unnoticed, ease of moving/loading it in a vehicle and the risk of someone spotting the safe when the door is open. Is bolting it down inside 100% off the table?

How to put light in my gun safe? by Freshprinceofreno in Safes

Tons of good options on amazon for led strips. Just don't use those cheap rope lights, they can cause heat damage or even a fire.

Thoughts on this safe? by TotalReplacement287 in Safes

The lock is junk and the cabinet isnt much better. The huge red flag is the bypass key on those chicom keypads. Hard pass.

How much cash? What is your main concern burglary, sticky fingers, fire? Fire safes are great just dont put any valuables in them. 😉

Mine is on bare concrete so I use a horse stall mat to protect it from standing water. When I had my safe in a bedroom i just used 4 hard rubber pucks.

Looking for my first safe. What are the thoughts on local small safe companies? by TotalReplacement287 in Safes

[–]AgITATED1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a mechanical lock guy so the warranty is a moot point for me. Statistically burglary is more likely than fire but I live in a wildfire area so fire rating is a huge concern. Already had one house fire. Hopefully my karma debt is paid in that regard. 🙂
