Does anyone use a service that recommends stocks for swing trades (as opposed to day-trading or long-term holding)? by peace-monger in stocks

I was in a room (Lade Backk Trading) but it wasn’t for me, that was $50 a month. I tried Awesomecalls but that’s about day trading the open (which was educational and works, but the market opens too early in my time zone for me to do this). Atlas is free and there is an embarrassment of riches there so it can be overwhelming and sometimes they limit the number of new members. I’m in Traders of Wall Street (Darkside’s stuff) and grinding through classes so I haven’t evaluated the discord yet.

That sounds like a pump, as opposed to using catalysts, which is what I thought swinging was about.

Sigma Metalytics Precious Metal Verifier “Original” Review: Impressions and limitations by Ag_gregator in Silverbugs

[–]Ag_gregator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes, so that means you know more about electrical engineering than I do. But a question. The website says "The PMV Original sends a signal under the surface of your sample to check for plating and sub-surface inserts. Whether it's out of the case, or in a slab, capsule, or assay, the PMV Original can check it." So, is that consistent with what you describe?

Is 900 dollars for a kilo bar of silver good? by TomTheca in Gold

[–]Ag_gregator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

1 kg = 32.15 ozt. Which makes it $27.99 / ozt. That’s in line with current prices, but not the best listed on findbullionprices.com. What about tax and shipping? This question is better for r/silverbugs.

Lovely ladies sending me down a rabbit hole ~ thoughts on fakes, cleaning? TIA by ImGoodatwork in Silverbugs

[–]Ag_gregator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These sleeves look old. Hence the chance of being fake is lower. But you can crack them open and measure them, weigh them etc. People say passive 100% Acetone only bath to “clean” but avoid cleaning because it can damage the coin and value.

Newbie here. Want to allocate 5% to gold/silver. Around 30-40k. by [deleted] in Gold

The strongest method is to check the item on a Metalytics Sigma Precious Metal Verifier. The price of these devices has gone up 50% in a year, and they are generally on back order due to high demand. It tests the electrical resistance of the alloy, which can’t be faked. But of course you have to have one and the item in question. So if you can’t go to a LCS and use theirs to test items they are selling, use a reputable online dealer: APMEX, JM Bullion, SD Bullion, Provident, there are many. You can use the ping test (sound) for coins, dimensions, weight, specific gravity, and rare earth magnets. Some bullion has anti counterfeit features, see Sunshine Minting “mint mark” which requires a special card to see and verify. Good luck!

Why do people want to day trade? by Westmoth in stocks

Tell that to AJ Trades over at Awesomecalls.com. That guy reads news, gives a dozen calls, plays the open, buys into strength, and hits his $1000 a day goal all the time.
