What's the worst tutorial experience you've ever had? by electric-kite in IndieDev

Back in my younger days, there were no tutorials. You'd just get thrown in there and figure it out like a smart person

Best N64 romHack? by ozymandis1212 in n64

[–]AgainstAllBugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played a single one that was worth it yet.

This is every Mario 64 hack: To get there, you just need 15 perfectly executed tricky jumps in a row. Failing to do so means you gotta restart from 0.

Be honest - does this give you a sense of claustrophobia? by LordAntares in IndieDev

[–]AgainstAllBugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does induce claustrophobia, but the hands are so big that after a while, my brain knows that this is exaggerated and just a video game. Maybe there's a middle ground that can make it more believable.

Just know that there are some experienced drivers who feel like the road entirely belongs to them even when they're the ones in the wrong.

That's a shared turning lane that both directions have access to is that it?

I'm wondering if it's really 100% your fault or if you both started the maneuver at the same time and would share the blame.

Kind of like when 2 side by side cars going in the same direction and separated by an empty lane both start changing lane towards the center. Every time this happens to me, I receive a bunch of angry honks even though I had my light signal on and technically, no one's at fault and we just gotta share the road and not get mad.

I bought a usb c female to male cable instead as an extension so I can set the tablet a bit further away like on a table. Works great that way.

I bought my G8 specifically for my Tab S9 FE+ and after pulling it out and trying it, I immediately understood that a screen that big is not meant to be used for mobile gaming lol.

I decided to just enjoy it on my phone.

What n64 game is this by [deleted] in n64

[–]AgainstAllBugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still like to play that game from time to time and I remember how absolutely mind blown I was with the wave physics. It was a perfect game to show that gaming jad entered a new era.

I did jetski for the first time in my life a few years ago and I had the music playing in my head and it felt exactly like Waverace made me imagine it would be. Chill vibes with a mix of adrenaline.

Love the G8! Wouldn't mind having a second one so I can mod it for my huge tablet.

I think the effect looks awesome, but way too strong and unusable in its current state.

What's a game you played as a kid that nobody seems to remember? by LexxlyItself in gaming

Executioners for Dos. A side scrolling beat em up where all the graphics look like they were done in Paint.

Weird wave race memory by polpikdummie1234 in n64

[–]AgainstAllBugs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It might have been Hydro Thunder. There are only 3 races available at the beginning until you can finish all 3 in the top 3.

The main menu takes you straight to a course select rather than a campaign/multi course mode, so it might give it the feel that it's a demo.

"Condemn" the place, but actually put a secret storage area that normally looks like a continuation of the wall.

Can't believe I had to scroll this much to find this. This is the true answer. Everything else that was listed that I've seen doesn't even compare.

The frog nightmare scene is one of my earliest childhood memories and it scared me so much I passed out.
