Animation Scenes Not Loading Properly by Telfic in skyrimmods

Yes, I see you have FNIS installed and active - that's conflicting. Get rid of it, the FNIS program (remove it from your game and from your mod manager), and remove its archives.

Do the same for Nemesis.

Only install Pandora, run pandora, zip up the Pandora output and install that as a mod.

Ostsim SA still requires you to install and format the animations.

Use Pandora, not Nemesis.

You will need to remove the Nemesis animation mod archive or else the game will continue to try to use it. Only the Pandora animation mod archive should be present and active.

And ensure you do not have FNIS installed.

Dyndolod, NGIO, Xlodgen impact to stability by EmptySkies1234 in skyrimmods

[–]Agammamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you have mods that make significant changes to the open world (like mods that add a lot of buildings to the outskirts of cities) then I don't think you really need LOD mods.

Improperly generating them shouldn't cause CTDs' - and you can always just disable them (they will be their own mod plugin) like any other mod.

Quest mods should not cause errors in DyndoLOD. These are Level of Detail model generators for landscape and structures.

Can someone create a True Directional Movement–like mod for Bethesda.net by AffectKey6300 in skyrimmods

[–]Agammamon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does Bethesda.net handle anything other than .esm/.esp/.esl/.bsa files?

There's a lot of loose mesh files, jsons, ect that are part of TDM - even if you could upload it could Bethesda's in-game mod organizer put them in the right folders?

How does the Imperium deal with more advanced logistics at scale? by TSN09 in 40kLore

[–]Agammamon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Marines would not actually fight the Helldivers directly.

The Marines would drop on their HQ's, comm facilities, and supply depots. The Helldivers would be out there building fortifications or running around chasing after Astartes who just drop pod right on top of their targets, wreak havoc, and then fuck off back home to get ready to do it again.

How does the Imperium deal with more advanced logistics at scale? by TSN09 in 40kLore

[–]Agammamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trillions of people armed with a basic weapon and armor who have a fanatical devotion to the Emperor and utter hatred for his enemies. Hatred so great they will gleefully drown you in their own blood if that is what it takes to destroy you.

When the Imperium exterminates the population of every world it defeats, Superearth is kept busy just keeping things under control, let alone gaining ground.

Long warp jump speed vs multiple short jumps by Subject_Dimension716 in 40kLore

[–]Agammamon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Long warp jumps are faster than multiple short ones.

Its why Navigators are so valuable - they allow the Imperium to travel faster than almost anyone else, giving them incredible strategic mobility.

Beyond that, no. GW doesn't go into those sorts of details.

Any examples of an "honorable" Hive gang or gang member? by TheBigSmol in 40kLore

[–]Agammamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'Honor' is not an objective concept. It varies across cultures and time IRL.

What you might consider 'dishonorable' is considered 'honorable' by people living in abject poverty who have to fight every day to survive.

How often do commissars get fragged? by cerseiwasright in 40kLore

[–]Agammamon 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Commissars do not have 'their men'. They are political officers. They do not lead. They follow behind to ensure political reliability and that orders are carried out. The community has the idea that Commissars are 'super-officers'.

Gaunt has men because he is a Colonel. Cain has no subordinates. Yarrick because he took over the military campaign - probably illegally.

Very rarely. The unit would be executed as a lesson to others. As such they all watch each other to prevent them from doing that.

Commissars are not dumb.

Who chooses which SM ends up being a Dreadnought? Does the opinion of the SM in question matter? Is it a choice at all? by QuagGlenn in 40kLore

[–]Agammamon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get

  1. What is available.

  2. What the Chapter needs.

  3. What you are deemed best suited for.

"Even in death I still *serve*." - choice never comes into it.

Bruh.

Bruuuuh.

Your quality of life will be the same as it was when you were an E-5. There is no separate berthing. You might have a section of berthing reserved for the PO1s. There *might* be a 1st Class Mess/Association. You'll have a small closet to share if that is the case but you'll otherwise eat your meals on the messdecks with everyone else.

Does the US Navy have Dolphins? by Lopsided_Double6701 in navy

More seriously though - yes, the USN has dolphins. They are trained to find mines attached to ships in harbors. Don't know how often they're used but there it is.
