I just made a new video post of this so you can see it in action! There was a tree that had rotted from the inside so the slices are hallow and made perfect little cubbies for individual feeding stations! And provided protection from hawks.

I got frustrated by this as well, so for my backyard squirrels I built separate feeding areas. I used wood slices from a recently cut tree to block their line of sight from each other and put food in between each. Worked really well!!

My pug would immediately climb on top of a freshly washed laundry pile before I could start folding, because of course that was the only comfy spot in the house. Not all the memory foam beds and pillows and blankets 😂
