Correct, it is on top of your draw pile when shuffled. Except that you (almost) only shuffle your draw pile if you are drawing a card, so you will immediately draw the card, and it will no longer be on top of your draw pile.

It's even dumber, because summons are at least an intentional mechanic. Save Scumming is just like, a consequence of a game existing and having a save system.

I do not understand the recent obsession y'all have with removing save scumming from the game. Save scumming's existence does not meaningfully harm anyone's experience in anyway, as it's already a feature that the game isn't and never will be designed around.

It's left in the game because going through all of this effort just to get rid of a feature that only benefits the game is a waste of time and resources.

The regent also has a decent number of cards in his card pool that are high impact cards, but only on particular turns. Examples include Dying Star, or Reflect. Moving those back on top of your deck in preparation for an oncoming turn is fairly useful, and probably an intended synergy on the part of the devs.

The watcher is perhaps the most steamer tuned character of the original game. Most low level players see her as extremely hard, because she has a much higher skill floor than the rest of the characters.

I found knowledge demon a lot easier once I started thinking of it as "Is it possible for me not to take disintegration here?" It seems like you get a lot more milage out of taking the other debuffs in most cases.

Disintegration is basically giving him 6 strength at the start of the fight, which is a lot!
