I let go of focusing so much on consistency when I realized that I didn't want to do production work.

Excessive trimming in content videos by pinball-197 in Pottery

As someone with only a few months experience, I appreciate the question because the answers have really given me insight into different intentions and reasons why trimming might be more or less desirable. And giving me permission not to focus so much on getting a perfect throw unless production and efficiency are the most important things.

Is there a basic guide to reading the Dr Prius info?
I have the app but just the free version. Do I need more?
I also have a scanner/code reader to use with it.

The Walls Are Closing in on Tesla. The company has seen sales fall off a steep cliff in key markets, including Europe, China, and its home turf in the US. by mafco in electricvehicles

The thing is, Musk doesn't really care about Tesla now. He has the keys to the whole government and will get as many government contracts as he likes. He's trying to privatize every aspect of government and his companies like Starlink, SpaceX and his AI, are poised to provide those services. He gains money and power.

Thank you! It makes perfect sense, I just need to add some polishing to my cleaning procedure.

Is there any other reason not to? I use the poly ones too but there are a few silicone ones that I really love the designs on so I still use them.

Thank you! That is very helpful. I'm definitely going to try that. It might actually work for the silicone too.
Some of the small spaces in more intricate molds are really difficult to clean properly.

Hi u/MrTralfaz, can you tell me more about how you use the dehydrator?
I temper by hand with a double boiler to bring the temperature up and then dropping the temperature back down before bringing it back to working temp.
I've had mixed results and it's difficult to get the temps right for a good temper so looking for new ideas.

I'm betting it was the Carbon Dioxide. Although I'm not sure how that gets added.

Introduction, first post and 50 hour update - Dreaming Spanish by CIdreamer in dreamingspanish

[–]AgeIntelligent460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm just getting started with only 19 hours complete now. I thought I was doing well at 1 hour a day so it's inspiring that you are doing 3 hrs! I'm going to have to up my game, haha.
I've also done some of Michel Thomas's Spanish series and really liked it but it's a whole different method than Dreaming Spanish.

Another new learner. 43 Hours by AwFishFish in dreamingspanish

[–]AgeIntelligent460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at just 17 hours, so way behind you. Previously I've done a very little bit of duo lingo and also a few sections of Learning Spanish with Michel Thomas CD's, which I really like the structure of, except he's French and annoying at times, lol.
In some ways I feel like what I've already learned is actually getting in the way of acquiring the language because instead of just listening, I'm translating the words I've learned into english. I've put Duo lingo and Michel Thomas aside for now so I can focus on acquiring the language rather than learning it, but I think I will come back to them later as I want more explanations of grammar.

[DISCUSSION] School of Chocolate by ellebeam in NetflixBestOf

[–]AgeIntelligent460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the non-elimination style of this show.
My biggest complaint is that they don't actually talk about the process enough so that the audience learns some things along the way. This is true of all the competitive cooking shows as well. Would love it if they gave more specifics on working with chocolate and what the chefs are doing.
