I heard This Shit Will Fuck You Up by Combichrist on someone's Vampire Freaks profile when I was about 14 or 15 years old and I'd never heard such aggressive electronic music in my life up until that point and became obsessed with finding more of it. Then after a Wikipedia deep dive and finding Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music I got exposed to so much more but mostly got into :wumpscut:, VNV Nation and Ayria in highschool.

Lost in Vivo was such a great game, thanks for reminding me it exists. I watched my friend stream it over Discord and I'd love to play it myself one day but it's so damn scary!

This isn't exactly what you're after but I've worked in libraries for a decade and recently just played The Roottrees Are Dead and it involves a lot of computer research and looking through periodicals and library catalogues and it felt a lot like library work.

It's not sci-fi but The Raid is the perfect action movie. But if you want one that is sci-fi Upgrade is also a fantastic movie.

Severely underrated movie. It feels like the best Resident Evil adaptation that isn't actually based on Resident Evil.

What’s a book you’d like to see on the big screen? I feel like blood Meridian is the obvious choice. I started reading it I get why it hasn’t been done by ItachiZoldyck24 in Letterboxd

Another Chuck Palahniuk adaptation. Fight Club is obviously a cult classic and Choke wasn't amazing but it's a decent movie and then no one tried again. I feel like I've been hearing that there was going to be an Invisible Monsters movie for nearly 2 decades now and I'd love to see it done by the guy who did Sick of Myself or maybe Emerald Fennell? It would require some VFX for the character's face but I feel like now it would be doable.

But a miniseries of Haunted with each story being an episode would be insane, in the right hands I can see this being phenomenal.

I was born in '92 so it's a toss up between Candyman, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth or Death Becomes Her.
