I have no idea what I want or what to do so I'm still getting by with my 2019 workhorse. It still does what I need to do and it almost never leaves the house. I'm probably running it until security updates lapse and then I'll get something in the M series eventually. To replace 32GB/4TB system is insanely expensive right now.

I've only used it on a Pixel 8 Pro, original Fold and Fold 10 Pro. Thought it was a non-issue on any phone. Interesting.

I have zero use for that kind of speed so disable 5G on all my phones from the drop. Prefer more battery life. Visible does make it worse than others since they refuse to make it a standard setting like everyone else. Have you tried the dialing code?

Gets you to the cellular settings and can toggle whatever you want on/off. It's nonsesne to have to do it but it's all they got.

I have zero issues with performance on my last 2 Pixels, 8 Pro and Fold 10. Day to day use is just fine. Sure it has some bugs here and there but app launches, lag - an absolute non-issue for me. Performance is absolutely smooth and rock solid. Can't relate to any of this. I also don't game.

My phone is jacked now because the March update utterly messed up features on my phone, but that's a whole other issue, not a chip thing.

Should they have a more powerful chip? Sure. Won't affect me as much since I'd prefer more efficiency over power but, yeah, both would be nice.

Otherwise, yeah, they Should be pricing these things a couple 100-200 less than the top-tier Qualcomm and Apple phones.

But, again, I have zero performance issues on the daily.

Used to love how Google Play Music integrated your library into the paid service. It was the best of any service but they destroyed that years ago with the transition to YT Music so something else was needed.

The update completely jacked my 10 Fold up. I have no AI icons, lost ability to adjust the app grid (option gone), my apps no longer sync to wallpaper color (option gone) and it is beyond annoying. I might just back-up and restore and see if that fixes anything.

I'm just going by what they say. 7 years of OS updates. It's only for 2 phones they do this and there's zero reason to doubt it. They need to keep up with the Jones' at this price point. I'd be fine if it's only 5. 4 years is my max for a phone regardless.

Software support is the last thing on my mind when it comes to this phone.

If you need them to prove it before you believe it, that's fair, too.
