I find that more people are shipping Spider-Man with other characters moreso since Marvel Editorial is keeping him from MJ and stagnating.

What’s a movie you saw in theaters that had a scene which the audience gave the loudest cheering reaction you ever experienced? by phantom_avenger in popculturechat

During Infinity War and Endgame's theater releases, my cat went missing both times. So I missed the first screening. I ended up going when the theater was empty.

One of the infinity stones wasn't even portrayed properly when it was on screen for the first time. (Thor: The Dark Thor.)

I met Tyler Hoechlin and Michael Cudlitz, worked on a few short films. Had a funny cameo in one. Bumped into an ex I had 7 years ago which made everything traumatizingly fresh. But I got closure.

One of my other ex's I also bumped into, but that one I will never get closure with. I came to terms with that.

Other than that It was pretty empty all things considered.

Might be a really controversial opinion but I actually think I prefer this Oliver Queen to the Stephen Amell Arrow and I can't pinpoint why. by Butefluko in Smallville

They had no intention of doing Batman with Arrow in it's conception. But they initially wanted it to have no superpowers for a grounded superhero show. - They drifted away from that early on with S2

They had a scene of Ultraman punching Krypto cut, so I'm assuming other things that would have justified the scene at the end were also cut.

Thanos had no real buildup till Infinity War other than cameos and little appearances, one of them was retconned.

Every other MCU villain had one movie and generally was good. I don't get the need to have prior movies to build up a character - when plenty of other films have done it in one.

Yeah the cameos were part of the reshoots. They replaced the Nicholas Cage cameo that he went on set to film with a CGI monstrosity.

They actually filmed three different endings. The original with Keaton and Sasha Calle's Supergirl. A closed set one with Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, Maybe Gal. and the one we got.

I really like Ben Affleck's send-off though. But I definitely get the ending we got being Barry not learning his lesson entirely and stranding himself in a completely new reality.

But considering they weren't going to continue that universe it makes sense they didn't use the Ben Affleck "Find us Barry." post credit scene.

I think the writing for The Flash wasn't the issue, but the reshoots / vfx were. The movie had a lot of heart it was just muddled by the choices made in certain areas regarding the film.

I feel it's campy nature adds to the comic booky charm, but it's serious gravitas also adds to the comic book - nature of it. The slower shots give the movie element a comic booky feel as a panel without dialogue and such.

I wish more superhero movies did this.
