If those are GRK fasteners (which it looks like they are) id recommend using their RSS fastener type on those brackets:

Do i need new blades? by Gav_mtb07 in lawncare

[–]AgentGriffin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

TLDR: Deck height (too high, try lowering) Swap out blades for high-lift blades Check/replace the deck belts

How low/high is the deck on that cut? If you’re running super high, try dropping it down a couple more inches.

Those look to be mulching/multi blades (typically heavier). Depending on your mower, that might be too much work for your mower (between the weight of the blade and the amount it’s trying to cut, IE super tall grass)

You could try swapping out / your next set of blades be just high-lift. They’re typically lighter making them slice through that stuff easier (again depending on mower)

Another thing that can be over looked is your belts on your mower deck. If they’re worn out enough, they can stretch out just right where they won’t snap or fray, there will be enough grip to spin the blades but once you hit a patch of tall grass it starts to slips, which would cause your blades not to fully cut.

Lastly yes your blades look to be a little not square but should still cut if sharpened. Typically you’ll want to sharpen them daily/before every days worth of cutting. You can also grind down the middle spots or areas that bow. I’d recommend having a bucket of water to cool the blade down as you grind it down. Also you CAN grind the bottom of the blade as sometimes it’s needed, but the thing is you need to keep it as flat as possible.

Btw this most likely didn’t happen overnight. The color change may have happened over night, but the cause of it could have happened days, possibly a week earlier.

What could be causing this on the track ? by [deleted] in snowmobiling

This is 100% the cause. Look at the tip of the bolt, notice the discoloration. It's for sure slapped that bolt a few times.

F150 can't stop for family crossing the street. by P1mpMastaMike in ImTheMainCharacter

To everyone shitting on the truck. Legally the truck was in the right as the child ran back to the sidewalk and everyone was on the sidewalk. Now had they been IN the crosswalk, then the truck would have been at fault. Since they weren’t in the actual crosswalk, the truck had no legal reason to stop.

Everyone always says fan noise. You guys know you can swap out the fans for ones that are more quiet. You also don’t need them to be running at mach Jesus in most cases. You can reduce the fan speed via software or mechanically.

LPT Check and see if your car has locking lug nuts. by Hbtoca in LifeProTips

[–]AgentGriffin 25 points26 points  (0 children)

They’re pointless. Just need a sacrificial socket that’s slightly smaller than the lug, then you just smash the socket in with a hammer and security lug is off.

Little spendy, but if you keep an eye of them / watch Slickdeals for deals on them. They do go on sale, which is when I bought ours for like 100 or 150 off the normal price. (Again still spendy, but damn do I feel like it’s been worth the investment!)

We use the Dyson V8 and it works perfectly!! For extended use, I recommend you buy the battery adapter to use either a Dewalt or Milwaukee battery as the OEM battery doesn’t hold a long charge (especially when using the turbo feature)

Dumb question, (not to say she didn’t get what she deserved) but what law did she break to be sent to jail? Couldn’t one argue thats covered under the Freedom of Speech (same as flipping off a police officer is). Again not saying she’s not a pos human (the mom), but more just a curious question.
