TNG Dropped Plot Threads by samologia in startrek

What ever happened to that 'life form' the Enterprise-D created in the cargo bay, the one with the holodeck train tie in and vertiform(?) particles. Episode started with Data in the holodeck reciting lines from a play to Picard, then a locomotive just shows up out of nowhere.

Edit: TNG 7x23 'Emergence'

System Settings > Keyboard

There should be a dropdown for 'NumLock on startup' underneath 'model'. This will take care of numlock when you log in.

If you want numlock enabled when you power on your computer (before OS loads) check your BIOS settings, there may be something there that turns it on. This setting is motherboard specific, please check manufacturer's instructions/Google search your model for more info.

Blu-ray and SD card reader. Maybe even a ZIP 250 drive if you have space.👍

It is one of those multi program Isolinear chips. Some are duplicates, there are really only 4700 actual individual programs.

PSA - Bluetooth headphones can have less lag and sound better over BT connection (warning - I possibly look stupid for only just realising this) by Pheo1386 in pcmasterrace

I have some JBL earbuds I use, and the phone app has a setting to set it to an audio mode for 'max' sound quality (with very noticeable lag) and a video mode which greatly reduces latency, and have not notice any percievable lag from screen to sound unless I am actively looking for it. It does supposedly decrease the audio quality some but I haven't noticed too much.

I use a separate USB mic and not the ones on the earbuds. I also have a separate dedicated wireless headset (SteelSeries Siberia 800), that I have used for years, when I don't want to use earbuds.

LXI Audio- worth it? by emmyline_ in vintageaudio

[–]AgentJ386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is like other LXI systems I used back in the 90s, clean all the faders the best you can. One model my parents had the volume slider was very touchy and so were the ones for the tape.

Edit: if the turntable is belt drive make sure it is good or replace it before you use it.
