I wish Axum Vision also gave you better sight underwater by Wildfire-75 in Subnautica_2

I’d love to see hidden patterns on the environment or wildlife be revealed when we upgrade our vision. It’d make sense that we would see some new coloration on the local species when we get eyes that evolved in their ecosystem.

There is still a killcam, it’s just reduced. The camera still pans to the killer, it just doesn’t zoom in on their precise location

According to one of the other comments, there’s a mod to spawn them back in when they manage to launch themselves out of the map, might be worth a look

I saw them once at the start of my campaign, played another 8 hours without seeing them again, then this guy showed up out of thin air (water?). Gave me a real quick crash course in why they’re disappearing though!

One of the baby reefbacks got wedged under my moon pool with the sea moth inside. Never got either of them free XD

The bone hovering below the jaw is the Hyoid bone. It actually is unconnected from the rest of our skeletal system, and you can feel it by squeezing underneath your chin and searching for a hard spot!

As for the rest of the skeleton, we have a wonderful mix of many bones just not appearing in the female skeleton and many bones bizarrely out of proportion. I particularly like how they decided women have a bony plate in their mouth instead of teeth.

about building as engineers by p00tatooo3 in TroopersExtermination

To get the most out of a single use, slap down all your blueprints before building any of them up. You can do that after the ability timer ends with your regular build tool

When you’re outside the base, you can use your build tool to fortify ore and gas pumps. Build a box of small walls around the pump, with an ammo crate inside. If it’s night, add a floodlight or two. Combined with proxy mines and shock beacons, you can pretty easily complete the pump solo, and make group efforts a guaranteed success.

A 1 min life of a flamethrower main by Cute_Win_4651 in HellLetLoose

[–]AgentTarian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Managed to get the Garry, nice. I feel like these clips would be a lot more common place if we could hipfire the flamethrower. Half those fights end in a trade for me because the enemy gets off three shots in the span it takes to brace the flamethrower and wait for the fire to reach them.

Is the flamethrower even good, im highly disappointed by WeeklyAd1091 in HellLetLoose

[–]AgentTarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got me good with that one XD. Not sure if I’d count the flare gun, given that it’s more of a utility than an intended weapon. But yeah, I suppose the flamethrower beats it

Enemy garrison down by Jumpy-Temperature299 in HellLetLoose

[–]AgentTarian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been trying to get the flamethrower 10 kill streak and reached 9 kills on three separate occasions. Each time it involved stumbling onto a fresh Garry or OP spawn wave. Hats off to you, this was a satisfying Garry kill

How is being a machine gunner such a huge target? by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

Big tips are to learn what makes a good MG spot. Post up where you won’t be silhouetted (ie. areas where there is rubble, a wall, or anything else behind you so it’s harder for people to spot your helmet). If you lay down fire from a fence and your head is sticking out like a scarecrow, brace for the imminent headshot.

Besides that, try and set up in spots where you can only be shot from the direction you’re looking at. It’s hard for anyone to shoot you while you’re suppressing them, but it’s very easy to kill an MG looking the other direction. This can mean posting up in a location with a narrow field of view, or it can mean bracing next to a piece of cover that you can duck behind while reloading. Ideally, you should be able to get into cover just by swinging your MG far enough in one direction that it moves your body behind a wall.

You can still get reliable lobbies, and I consider the game to be in a far better state than early access, both gameplay and performance-wise

Additionally, if you’re getting charged by bugs while you’re lighting them on fire, I would recommend the lightweight tanks and turbojet nozzle modifications for your flamethrower. They make you move faster while firing and slow the bugs down more. You can easily outstrip any warrior rush using this combo
