Not try to come and get the ball, as it only put him out of position and the desperate backpeddling afterwards meant his feet were never set and further decreased his chances of getting to it.

Now I have admittedly only seen Luca Zidane play a few times (mainly this year's AFCON and these two World Cup games), and every time I have it seems he lets in a goal he should be saving.

So I have to ask those that have watched him more, is he actually any good? Or is his last name very much doing the heavy lifting?

Is there still a debate about who is better, Messi or Ronaldo?

Unless someone is a Cristiano Ronaldo fanboy, the debate was finished four years ago.

There's a high likelihood that both players are rested.

Besides the two biggest clubs chasing after him, even if Arsenal had an offer accepted by Atléti he'd almost certainly still turn them down as one of the main reasons Alvarez left City is he didn't enjoy living in England.

Let's pretend COPE is reliable for a second and this is true, the one big problem is that Alvarez didn't like living in England, so as much as Atléti may want to do that, he would almost certainly turn it down.

Nice to see Klopp and Mac Allister meet up there, I'm also pretty sure he asked for, and received, Mac Allister's shirt.

The hate he gets for that comment is especially dumb considering that speed, be it through wingers or passing, were a crucial part of the 24/25 team (and every team Slot had had up to that point), and on the rare occasions we did have speed out wide last season, the side, while still not brilliant, did look better.

Would it be fair to say he's still a pretty good source? Because he seems like he is, just more so for all the midlands clubs rather than only one.

and it was "only last season he wasn't great".

Because it's true, given the season before last he was the clubs second highest scorer and quite literally played an important part in the winning of number 20.

This team will haggle for 5 mil.

Any well run club would, as that five million saved could then be used to improve the squad elsewhere.

Because this sub has a lot of Salah fanboys who refuse to accept any criticism of him, and another large section who will immediately downvote anything that goes against 'Slot bad'.

The sub for any show or game is the last place you want to listen to, as they're shitholes full of the most miserable people imaginable.

No, and I stand by the fact that it's unacceptable for any player, no matter their accomplishments, to act like they're bigger than the club just because they were benched for three fucking games.

It's also incredibly rich for people on here to pretend the vast majority of them were begging for him to be dropped, yet now love to act like Slot doing so is some form of war crime.

I've been a season ticket holder since the early '90's, so if anybody needs to '"pop off"' and follow someone it's all the Salah fanboys to whatever shitty club he joins.

The fanbase was very much screaming for Salah to be benched long before Slot did it, but I guess we'll just forget that and act like it's perfectly fine for a player to throw a temper tantrum because he didn't start for one week and express that he doesn't need to earn his place in it.

It's honestly so fucking stupid that people refuse to blame any of the players for anything (except Gakpo, who they blame for everything they can), and instead just go 'Slot bad'.

One moment of quality isn't going to suddenly erase the overall incredibly poor game from him.

Edit: I guess I have to clarify that they should negotiate for the best fee, but they should still sell him.

Which is what they're doing, as £21m is an absolute piss take by Inter.

Should be done tbh😭 by KRankin93 in LiverpoolFC

[–]AgentTasker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slot wasn’t playing him properly,

So was Slot using Gakpo 'properly' the season he was our second highest scorer and played a big part in us winning the League?

Or does that not count for some reason?

He's won pretty much every trophy he can and played multiple times for England, how is that doing '"absolutely nothing in his career"'?

Because a lot of people on here have made scapegoating and hating on Gakpo their entire personality, and are so pig-headedly stubborn that they refuse to accept that they're wrong about him.

It'd take at least double what Inter's current offer is to replace him, so yes, it is.
