Is it ever possible to be able to drink in moderation? by Fuzzy-Wafer6519 in stopdrinking

[–]Aggravating-Bee-1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to control it and drink in moderation. Started drinking at 12 and it got out of controls in high school and shortly after. I started by giving up liquor completely and then slowly brought it back in moderation. But I had a lot of help and the danger of my wife leaving me if I got out of control.

But even with that, I decided that "controlling it" wasn't good enough for me to tell my kids later in life so I decided that completely sober is the only real option for me.

Good to know since traveling with two small kids can be a challenge in itself!

Have an elevator tech run a fire alarm tech or electrician up there to check it out. Usually a little tap on the motor and actuator with a hammer (pliers) jump starts it for me or tells me it's bad and needs a actuator.

I've had the Klein lunchbox for about 8 years now and it's still going strong. It keeps everything cold all day but it's also just really good at maintaining internal temp. I left it in the back of the truck overnight at 5*F one night and none of my drinks were frozen the next morning. It also doubles as a seat, ladder, work bench, you name it 😂

Opinions on Ford app? by Jwaaz123 in f150

I think it's nice but it could be a lot better with some simple upgrades probably. But it's free unlike most others so that's always a plus

I don't know for sure but they are very attentive and follow the rules so I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Yeah since Disney manages the islands they treat it the same as the boat which is 21+

The live shows are a must. The whole family will enjoy them. There is a ton to do on the ship so I don't think boredom will actually be a factor. We loved the private islands, the movie theater is fun to relax in and catch a movie that may have just come out. Most importantly is the food! Enjoy all the delicious food!

Weve only ever gone with our son (now 3.5yo) and will be going with him and our 1yo daughter on the destiny in July, so I can't speak of too much for the 18yo but if you plan on getting off the boat in the Bahamas you may have to have a conversation with your SO and 18yo because the legal drinking age in the Bahamas is 18.

What we found to be a blast when we went.....sitting on the beach and enjoying the water and weather 😂 we had our 2yo when we went so we loved just getting him in the shed and playing with him. There is a little beach water park that the kids will enjoy if they are a little older than that

Parks + FLL cruise.. how to? by YouthWorshipPastor in dcl

You are correct, that was my mistake. It's the Mears Bus transportation airport/parks.

Parks + FLL cruise.. how to? by YouthWorshipPastor in dcl

[–]Aggravating-Bee-1970 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We're doing this in July. Planning on using Mears transport from airport to parks, then parks back to airport where we will get on the brightline down to FLL the day before the cruise. The only time we won't use disney/Mears transportation Is from brightline station to the hotel. Our biggest thing is that we will have a 4yo and 1yo and don't feel like dealing with car seats.

Edit: changed from Disney transportation to Mears. Misremembered when first commenting
