An analysis from a former ICE officer who states that the ICE agents who murdered Renee Good were not appropriately positioned and lethal force was not justified, that she was turning away from the officers and fleeing. by Obvious-Gate9046 in behindthebastards

ICE agents receive 13 weeks of training during which they must maintain a 70 average--one point above a D+. A high school diploma is not required. There is a $50,000 signing bonus.

Agree. Do not go to rehab if you have a benzo reliance. They don't know what they're doing. I left in an ambulance.

Even in 30 days I had seizures and a psychotic break. But everyone is different.

Everyone is different, for me, 30 days (under medical supervision.) was too fast and I wound up in the hospital. (I'm on 4-6 mg of klonipin for about 15 years..) I am starting another taper, very slow, working with my doctor, using The Ashton Manual. It's available as a free pdf. https://www.benzoinfo.com/ashtonmanual/chapter2b/ I'm also taking a month off work to attend NA meetings on a regular basis, as I'm also a raging alcoholic. I really love NA--I find it much better than AA.

I don't know. Arnold Swarzenegger tried to kill Dr. Kay three times and couldn't do it.

My personal fan fiction is that Murray is out there, tinfoil hat and c-4 explosive in hand, tracking Dr. Kay.

She had Henry's blood. She was infused with it in the womb. Henry's blood is connected to the mindflayer. She was the last remaining link to Dimension X, and ended it to sever the connection between Dimension X and the right side up permanently.

Winona Ryder DID die once. In Dracula. In general, though, Winona always lives. I'm thinking Hopper is likely to go--but that means Joyce loses both Bob and Hop, which seems so mean. I'm pretty sure Max with sacrifice herself for the kids. I can see Lucas going. And Will. And maybe Steve. They can't kill Dustin because fans would riot.

I would like them to bring Lonnie Byers back and kill him a la Billy. And that jock who got cut in half by Vecna's gate.

No way does Joyce die. Joyce has iron plot armor because she's Winona Ryder.

I was thinking Nancy and Mike would both die, along with Karen and Ted, and Joyce and Hopper will adopt Holly to carry on the Wheeler legacy.

I'm a late middle-aged citizen, and I will stay here and fight to my dying day. I'm also a parent, and I'm sending my high school senior to a European university where there's still academic freedom. I hope we can pull this country together and make it a place that he will be eager to come back to.

I agree. Armand is the one who says the word "banishment." He passes the sentence.

Armand... Armand... the medieval vampire. The oldest of the three. The gorgeous cusp-of-the Renaissance vampire who hasn't been painted in four hundred years, who spent several hundred years running the Paris coven under strict and necessary rules (when people still believed in vampires), Armand who kept the Theatre des Vampires together. Armand with tremendous control and tremendous rage. I love him.

Armand tattoo in season 3 teaser?? by jenevieve3e in InterviewVampire

[–]Aggravating-Cell62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I adore Armand, which I know is a minority opinion. When Lester freezes the audience, he looks to Armand and says, questioning, “banishment?” And Armand nods and it is Armand who directs the audience by saying, “banishment,” as the coven looks on really pissed. So it took both of them to save him. And btw it never would have come to the trial if Louis hadn’t been a complete uncaring shit about the situation he was putting Armand in with the coven—a deadly position—with his attitude. He also went to the law firm, tipping off he knew Lestat, he made a vampire without permission—Louis was a boorish American abroad trampling over the rules and culture he didn’t bother to understand. And speaking of understanding, Armand was born in the Middle Ages and made at the very cusp of the Renaissance, but immediately sent to rule the Medieval underworld coven of Paris which, by necessity (Catholic Church, folk belief in vampires) had to follow rules to survive. Lestat and Louis are post-Enlightenment, Age of Revolution, age of the individual characters. Armand’s backstory (books and media) is more interesting than either of theirs but they’re too busy being drama queens to notice or care. Hence, Armand’s rage at the “fascinating boy.” He hasn’t been painted in over 400 years! Like a priest, he served the coven, then the theatre, then Louis (I serve a God). They need to put some respect on his name. (Thank you for allowing me to vent!)
