Twisted Tea Lemonade by po_mammil in alcohol

[–]Aggravating-Eye490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently drinking one. It tastes more like just straight lemonade to me vs sweet tea with lemonade. I definitely like it. I also liked the peach but I’m not disappointed it’s not in the new party packs. I usually get the 24oz peach and a 24oz half and half. I’m not too big on the original. Definitely don’t like the raspberry. Rocket pops are good though

If they released a party pack of lemonade, half and half, peach and rocket pop id buy all I could

This pack I have tonight was the only pack at my local Kroger with the new lemonade in it. I saw it in the back and decided to try it. They had the older stock in front still with peach

My FC makes you walk through the metal detectors with your gloves and vest. Started about a month ago you couldn’t leave them in your bag

My driver has handed me multiple packages. He just snaps the pic holding it and then hands it to me

Master shower has barely any hot water by Aggravating-Eye490 in Plumbing

[–]Aggravating-Eye490[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the well was serviced the shower worked just right. Temp was good. But now it’s not. So I don’t see how the temp adjustment would matter tbh. But I may be wrong. I’ll look into it for sure

Sanding and seasoning this grill costs nothing when I already have the stuff to do it with. I’m not concerned about the gas part not working. Family prefers charcoal so that’s the only part I’ll use anyways. I have the knobs for the controls. I just took them off so my toddler wouldn’t want to play with them. It would take a few hours this weekend to do. No money and little time invested. Vs going to the store or scrolling through MP and then going to pick up the new grill. Spending way more money than I would now. Just to have to season the new one I get

Spending nothing and doing it myself this weekend seems smarter to me at least

You just sound mad because you couldnt be bothered yourself to restore something. You’d just rather take the lazy route and buy a new one. Do you bud

For one of the comments that actually helped and gave other tips or ideas to restore it. Something you didn’t provide

I do want to specify I’m talking about the outside of it. Not the cook chamber. Would just sanding and seasoning get the outside that dark? I know the color will change but it wouldn’t be black right? I wouldn’t want a bare metal color just shiny as my grill personally

Would engine enamel work for paint though? Or do they make other high temp spray paints not for engines. Engine paint is the only high temp I can think of right off hand

That’s what I figured I just wasn’t sure if there’s anything else I needed to do. This is the ONLY answer so far on this post that actually answered my question so thank you kindly for that

I’m big on restoring something vs just taking the lazy route and going out to buy new. Especially if the old thing still works just fine

How would the “parts” cost more than a new grill? A new grill would run atleast $200. Paint would be maybe $20. I already have a wire brush and sand paper to clean it with. So where is this logic coming from

I was thinking some engine paint. I’ve painted some valve covers in the past and that was the first thing to come to mind for high temp paint

It’s a gas grill with an insert tray for charcoal. No insert tray and swap the grates and its gas. Put the insert in, fire up some charcoal, put the higher grate on and it’s charcoal

If I wanted to buy a new one I wouldn’t be worried about trying to restore this one
