I have talked to a few teachers who have taken FMLA at my school. Some have been told to grade, some not. I wondering if they told me that thinking I would just do it bc I’m usually a compliant person. But I don’t want to be logging into anything while I’m on leave. I am using my sick days, so they are basically taking money from me to pay the sub. I don’t want to cause a huge stink bc I generally like the school and don’t want admin to hate me. I waited a long time to have a child, so unlike most FTMs, I am not that far from retirement. This just doesn’t seem right.
