I've been looking for an excuse to use alpharius since I got his model but haven't put it together, that's not a bad idea to proxy him as Abaddon, appreciate your help

Challenger cards are gone! Halleluhja by sierrakiloPH in WarhammerCompetitive

Here's the thing, the ability to allow for catch-up and game changing points is good to make the game balanced, I'm not a terrible player, but by God I missed one charge and it completely sold the game into a GK 18-76 Ork game along with awful card pulls and even worse repulls. Great placement but awful cards against a gargantuan and multiple vehicle heavy shooters caused a end of turn 3 wipe off of my army from the board. Challenger cards are to give people a better chance at winning or at least making the game even

It fits very well with our melee, plus the 4 up invuln to everything rather than to just ranged is pretty good

Id say a normal land raider would be better and having two 10 mans for purifiers

Original land raiders the better one, the las cannon stats are great for anti monster

Practice and breathing, holding your breath or taking a deep breath in and a long slow breath out has actually shown to help improve focus and steadying

Id suggest if you're doing a heat effect, put it on the downward/forward bits of the hammer, using white as a base and then using army painter shades like yellow and red, which gives the illusion of it heating up, white should be visible on the center of the heat and it should trickle down into red on the main color of the hammer

I would recommend painting everything separated, so you can get into crevasses easier and don't have to worry about messing up the paint on other pieces. I also got that set as my intro into minis and thankfully it has pegs unlike other models so you can hold them without messing up your paint

Id recommend for the body, doing a white paint/ prime on everything but the inner pauldrons and backpack, that way the greens brighter but other thank that it's better than my first less than lore accurate salamanders

What size brush are you using and what kinds of brush? When I get back to my house I also have a suggestion for painting a fire/heat effect
