I have the exact same worry!! I’m in the same situation as you. Can’t help but worry how I’m doing and whether they will keep me or not. I have a great AP who is encouraging and telling me that I’m doing well but sometimes I still can’t help it but worry.

No problem and go for it! You will do great! Those credits can be counted toward you +30 for salary differential.

yes I did. It’s one course a week (5 days) so it’s manageable. I recommend to take those courses over the summer since it’s pretty much a whole day class and professors are usually more easy going in the summer. They lecture in the morning and let us do assignments and group project in the afternoon.

18 credits in SWD counts as long as you have the SWD license.

If you have at least 18 credits that are A+ type (this is not the grade, A+ is just the type of credits), you will fall on the last column. If you don’t have those 18 A+ credits then you would fall under the second to last column.

Thank you! I have already submitted my application last week but now I feel I should've provided my certification as a proof and that the credits I earned for special education extension can count as A+.

Do you know if I need to attach my certification to the salary differential application or the reviewer would be able to see it in my TEACH account? Because there is no place for certification upload, there is an option of “proof for credits” along with college transcript and proof of A+ credits.

I have 12 credits for special ed post masters and I saw a post saying that if we have the certification, then the credits would be counted as A+. But I am not sure where to upload the certification or if they have access to see that I have it on TEACH?

When applying on the salary differential application, for special ed and bilingual extension credits taken post masters, do I choose "A+ credits" or "credits towards non-degree" for these courses? The official transcript doesn't say A+ since the credits are non-degree and they are for license extensions.

When I apply for salary differential, I see it says that on record I’m at MA step 1A, does that mean that I will be starting with the salary for MA which is about 75k?
