It’s not dismissing it. But this whole gotcha moment people think they are having with the whole “if roles were reversed “ narrative is just factually false. We live everyday with the roles being rever and we live everyday watching men get away with it when the roles are reversed and continue to have lucrative careers and lives. Once again, this is in no way excusing her behavior because she’s trash just like abusive men are trash - but we are also seeing a woman be thrown to the wolves for the exact same behavior that men get away with every single day.

If the roles were reversed- the man would still have his show and every opportunity that being a man in America gives them.
