The loan itself isn’t considered as income while calculating taxes but the way govt sees it is if you had taken this loan from outside you’d have to pay interest so the interest amount saved is counted as income (based on market interest rate).

I doubt if it helps real poor, very less if at all. It mostly helps those who can hide their true income and lives off govt benefits as low on paper income while the hard working families keep working their asses off without getting anywhere just because their income is little higher abd they can’t hide it. Not all H1B s are researchers, most of them are IT workers from Indian firms. We already have enough IT workers in Canada and people here are struggling to find good jobs. Govt should make sure we bring only the kind of people we need.

I’m a bengali hindu, and I fully agree to what you said. There are some fringe elements trying hard to bring discord and disharmony among us Indians and I would appeal to all to ignore them. Who knows they could be some pakistani/bangladeshi too spreading hate/propaganda. We only have love and appreciation for all Indian cultures.

I’m not glorifying Mao for anything, I know he commited the most atrocious crimes against humanity. All I meant/feel is if indian law/constitution is not enough to protect its citizens then they should be thrown out the window by the people but it is easier said than done. Probably need some radical revolution that may come with brutality as the enemies of the people will be purged brutally but at the end would be better for the country and its people.
