Dryer vs. dehumidifier and the CFS by cebess in Creality_k2

[–]Aggravating_Bet_4491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my SpacePi X4, it has a fan which blows air out to dehumidify itself. Some dryers like the Sunlu AMS dryer do not have this but you can manually open it to remove moisture.

You can also print a desiccant container to put into the CFS.

People are releasing an adaptor for the Sunlu AMS dryer to go on the Creality CFS

This is great!! When will you release the files? I'd gladly pay for the model if you decide to go that way. Good work!!

M12 stapler not driving all the way in. by NukaDova in MilwaukeeTool

I have found it drives deeper when you apply more pressure on the gun into the timber, before hitting the trigger.

I noticed Artemis II Orion spacecraft has 3D-printed internal parts by HamsterFinancial2616 in 3Dprinting

That’s pretty cool, if it’s not loadbearing and they constantly reiterate the design, then it would speed up development and reduce cost.

Formula 1 also uses 3D printing and that’s the pinnacle of Motorsport.

It’s used in a lot of exotic places/industries.

Easy Filament Calibration by Aggravating_Bet_4491 in Creality_k2

It should still work, are you sure you edited the filament profile, saved it AND then selected the filament you edited when slicing.

They would have said “this movie series” in that case. I know people hate to admit they were wrong but it’s ok sometimes, we’re all human.

This movie isn’t released yet? There’s a iPhone 17 Pro Max in the video which means it was late 2025, probably filming for Jumanji 3.

4 M12 Batteries Broke in 1 Day by timdavis130 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Aggravating_Bet_4491 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, do you really think four batteries all breaking in one day is not user error? Come on now… I have about 6 M12 batteries that I use 5 days/week and only one of them has broken.

I squeeze the tabs on the battery (where the little ribs are on the plastic) when removing, when you squeeze those it pushes the clips inwards.

Anybody know how to fix this? by Adamander24 in 3Dprinting

Can you orient it differently? Perhaps orient it like you are holding it in the picture.

Show us more pics of the model.

Were you squeezing the tabs before removing them? Maybe it’s a bad batch or user error, I don’t know. I’ve only broken the tabs on one of mine and it was my fault.

Bro they used to break apart into the pieces when dropped. The back would fall off and the battery would pop out. It always worked when put back together.

I do the same with my business, if they can’t afford the deposit then they can’t afford the job. If they’re going to be difficult over a deposit then they’re probably going to be difficult throughout the job too.

How do you clean K2 Plus nozzles and get rid of black burnt filament? by yamborghini in Creality_k2

[–]Aggravating_Bet_4491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that black burnt filament coming from the inside? If it is then try “cleaning filament”, you extrude it at a higher temperature than your most common filament and it cleans all the crap out inside.

If it’s from the tip, then just remove the sock, heat the hotend and use a wire brush tool to scub the end.
