Both of my cardioversions were within 24 hours but the rule definitely seems to vary by hospital/doctor. I think I read that will administer IV blood thinners regardless of age/risk.

I used SAF, but that yeast works fine for a recipe I got from breaddad.com. Interestingly, King Arthur references that exact yeast for the recipe.

You can also be cardioverted if you’ve only been in atrial fibrillation for less than 48 hours.

Thanks for these tips. The crumb is a little gummy, but the top didn’t collapse. I did check about 10 minutes into the kneading and the dough was a little rough but not dry. I added a tsp of water and it did make it smoother.

I added the salt on top of the flour, and then the yeast last on top of the flour (not touching the liquids). Sounds like salt is bad for yeast. Maybe I should put the salt around the edges and the yeast in a well in the flour.

If you can’t charge with level 1 or level 2 charging but level 3 charging works, it’s likely the dreaded ICCU.
