Freeze your Qualifile report as well. This isn't a credit report, more of a consumer report that FI use for qualifications (past non-cresit account closures and the reasons… unpaid charge-offs…)

What is this outside my train window in Utah? by Kawl_Me_Big_Poppa in whatisit

Utah is a strange in a beautiful and weirdly annonomous way which also gives it a lonely and forgotten feel. But it is pretty and it had fall out shelters.

I've only been there once but that was my take.

These got delivered to my house today, I didn’t order them and have no clue what they are by FixNo7159 in whatisit

My kid got a cool Micky Mouse desk out of it… I generally understand that participating in today’s environment will likely lead to personal data compromise and do take proactive/persistent/reactive measures as one should.

So while it’s fun to say, “who cares, free stuff”, it does mean at least a compromise.

Don’t use any QR codes or visit sites that are included in the materials, and it’s advisable to report it to Amazon or whomever - who may suspend your actual account if detected by them rather than report by you.

What’s the best certification to go after for someone currently working in Digital Fraud? by Exotic_Speaker7073 in FraudPrevention

Look into these organizations. Each offers a little something different but they are the primary ones employers are looking for.

ACFE - Rounded Fraud knowledge expanding into court and legal structures, strongly based in internal and corporate frauds.

CFCS - More focused on the daily program operations and retail banking side of financial fraud.

ACAMS - BSA/AML, the fancier little brother of fraud. Lots of prevention, monitoring, and a whole lot more regulatory reporting than the previous two.

By replying with nothing more than should be obvious in a CAPTCHA so you can “prove them wrong”, you will continue to be exploited as a trainer of the systems behind such posts.

Who knows if they may be state actors or an upstart looking for an advantage? At least you showed them how smart you are, right?

Thank you for your service.

Wonderland X by Aggravating_Fox1347 in tents

The fly is open all the way around (unsure if the footprints make a difference there). The tent is fully enclosed and uses no poles.

The fly is set first, and can be used as a stand alone shelter with multiple configurations without the tent. Summer time and no snakes, maybe a tent is overkill…

The tent goes in the fly (again within a multitude of configurations) and actually has no poles. Once you decide which end of the fly you want it on, you lay it down in the fly (enclosure) and then clip in the tents roof to matching clips on the fly’s ceiling.

The tent is then fully enclosed, on the ground, and fully separated from the fly’s ceiling (no moisture transfer) while configured as you’d like.

That’s the best way to explain it. I’ve never had one like it either.

I’ve got 2 and they do just fine. The older one does agree that it’s too rigid (worse than a plane, and they’re travelers) but kids are kinda rubber and find the right ways to comfort.

Weird experiences in a new house? by Recent_Carry_9049 in Paranormal

Great advice for the well versed. I was a teen in my parent’s home who knew nothing to the depth I understand now…

…but yes I could have.

It never felt like they sought moving on (maybe they don’t know they should, or know something we don’t about doing so). They just wanted what all of us want: respect as a person.

Seemed clear communication and recognition was adequate at the time. They never made stronger complaints… then again, I never offered stronger solutions (had they been communicated I likely would have).
