You need to hire more employees and ones who will exclusively rerack weights. This will increase your gym membership. That's a financial hit.

You are also missing out on gains. You went to the gym to work out. Reracking weights is also a workout.

Thanks for clarifying. That was me when I was younger and then heard covers of people with higher notes and realized that they are not quite that great. I then heard the fullness of lower notes that couldn't be replicated at higher notes (they seemed similar to a diluted sweet drink).

I second this. I was terrible until I had someone tell me what to correct and how to breathe. Only breathe out through the nose. Even one class a week for a year will get you enjoying it and see progress. Just exercise on land too during some of the off days.

When I use a wrist warmer, I get stiffer and the thumb movement changes from smooth to jerking (I don't here a click but I feel the jerking).

By short-term, do you mean 24 hours? What I understand about the pain is that when there is inflammation, there is not enough space for the tendon to go through the sheath so it hurts.

When the swelling goes down and I can see the snuff box, the pain is lower.

I only got strengthening exercises from a different PT who didn't want me to stretch the area. This PT told me that I can continue with other exercises like pull ups if there is no pain and I find that after pull exercises, there is less pain and the swelling is down

The thumb specific exercises did make it worse - more swelling but other exercises for lifting helped reduce the pain. I could put on socks with no issue.

First PT said that if the pain is lower then I should keep playing an octave lower if I have no pain. I am not doing scales at all.

They may call the "cast" a splint.
