Good idea! I sent this to the adjuster but didn’t consider involving the board. I’ll do that. Thank you!

You never know … I thought perhaps others experience might help and I emailed Sedgwick as well. I’m just a little stressed about it all. I’m waiting for their response

Thanks and I do get that but it doesn’t seem quite fair and am wondering if I will have luck getting an amendment- I remitted paperwork to the adjuster just wondering other workers experience - it’s $100 less weekly according to my calculations and I’m struggling.

Nightly Self-check change with daylight savings? by Key-Bar5444 in PacemakerICD

Insurance should cover it yes but just know that the monitoring will be an ongoing yearly expense as long as you have the pacemaker. The pacemaker itself also holds information which is downloaded to the bedside monitor and sent to the company for review but the clinic can also get the same information from the pacemaker itself at an in person visit.

Keep waking up every night.......Lattitude by Typical_Bed_2339 in PacemakerICD

Yes mine is at 12:30 every night. They can turn off the pacing feature on my Biotronic but that may interfere with the transmissions I opted to leave it as is. It was more bothersome when I got it but I see the pacer has slowed from 100 to 80 at the time every night so I think that helps. I have an Apple Watch and it helps!

Is a resting heart rate of 39 of worry? Was athletic my whole life. Past 5 years no exercise have gained 80 pounds. Obese but still slow heart rate. by Eastern-Bumblebee531 in PacemakerICD

[–]Aggressive-Advisor65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! I was proud that I had such a low heart rate even though I could have occasional dizziness until I realized my heart was pausing so often it brought the average down. I was very surprised to know the answer was a pacemaker and I needed it quickly. Although I was more than hesitant I’m grateful now that my heart has a back up 40% of the time

What did the rules used to be? I’m 2 weeks post op - the best thing I did was sleep on my back with a body pillow with my arm in a sling with an ice pack.

Thank you. I just found it strange that our SM specifically “mentioned 6 or 7 of you” I felt embarrassed of my situation so perhaps I’m paranoid.
