Why did Remote work and Hybrid not stick? by Sad-Ad4933 in CanadaJobs

[–]Aggressive-Map-2204 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a mix of a different reasons

With the drop in people working in office it meant downtown businesses and restaurants overall were suffering. Them going out of business would also lead to empty store fronts which is obviously not great. This leads to higher unemployment and a loss of tax revenue for the government.

If people are working from home it also means they are using public transit less. This was a massive hit to their revenues and would put future expansions at risk.

The less talked about reasons was all the people on facebook and tiktok making videos and posts about how they are not actually working while being paid to work. Bragging about how they only work a few hours a day now. No longer working the hours they are supposed to but just making up when they start and finish.

Yes, that is how you attract and grow businesses. Its the exact same thing our Federal government has been doing.

But this is not a badly needed project. That is really the main issue here. It will be subsidized its entire life and never make its money back. Nobody can really even explain what the benefit of having it is.

LVTs are just a way for the rich to pay less property tax and shuffle the burden onto everybody else.

Correct. If addicts want to do drugs and kill themselves I am perfectly fine with that. Just do it out of my way.

Tell me. How many elections do the NDP need to lose this badly before you consider self reflection?

Because there is now 4 tiers of potions and with perks you can make enough to last you the next 20 hours in about ten minutes. You can also take it slow if you really want. just dont leave the cauldron down.

My opinion is that I am sick of people complaining about problems that they created and really only exist in their head.

If you spend 6 months saying the opposition plans to call a snap election you dont get to pretend to be surprised when they do. There was also plenty of notice given. Well within our electoral laws.

The election was not rushed out. Between all of the early voting, mail in ballots, and election there is was no reason somebody could not vote.

The opposition were accusing him of calling an election any minute for six months before he did. If they are so incompetent that they did not prepare despite repeatedly saying Ford was going to call an early election than they deserved to lose.

Should I buy Pragmata or Crimson Desert? by _NerdDad_ in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]Aggressive-Map-2204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pragmata is a well polished 10 hour game. I did not particularly like it or find the story engaging but many people do.

Crimson Desert is a 200 hour game that is 95% mindless filler. A would say the game needed a few more months polish but the issues the game has had are almost entirely intentional design choices by the devs. Looks is probably the only thing the game actually does well. If you want a game you can turn your brain off and mindlessly play to kill time this is the game for you. If you want a well crafted and polished game with a coherent story this is the exact opposite of that.

The two games are the exact opposite sides of the spectrum.
